Reality TV: The Apprentice

Ok well since a thread hasn't been started about this very entertaining show I thought I may as well do the honours...

The Apprentice is on Tuesday 9:30 channel 9 however as of next week it's moving to Monday 9:30. Don't miss it! :)

For anyone who doesn't know what it's about, pretty much there's a team of women and a team of men who are fighting for the position to work for Donald Trump. Both the men and women are given the same tasks (related to the business world) and have to prove themselves by winning. So far the women have won 3 of the tasks and the men are looking like sore losers. The team that loses has to go into this special room and have a really intense meeting with Donald Trump, then one of the people from the team get fired. Eventually there will only be one person left (male or female) and they will get to work for Mr. Trump.

Sounds pretty boring... but I really enjoy it. Next week the girls are going to get in trouble because they always use sex to get there way. Well.. not really... but they kiss guys, take photos of planes that look like genitals etc.

Anyone been watching? I'm really sad Sam left... he was great!
 
awesome show. i'll wait a bit to add my thoughts about the various people so i don't ruin it for you aussies. us americans already know the outcome :p :p :p
 
i was very addicted to the show while it was on in the US. i just wish they would do a follow up show so i can see where/what the contestants are doing now.

troy and sam are my favorites. one of the funniest things i ever seen was sam in a dress in a commercial for miss america or some beauty pageant =D
 
Katrina is HOT !!!

I thought Sam was pretty good too UNTIL he proved to knows nothing about business, he is pretty hopeless and deserves to go, he's good at talking BS though!
 
tell me about it! i was so nervous for him man... i really thought he was going to prove himself! the guy that got his legs waxed is pretty HOT. i like him...
katrina? oh my god i hope that's not the annoying bitchy woman. i don't really like those women... and i can't wait to see mr. trump yell at them for being so sexual or whatever.
 
When will shit like this end really...
It's so boring (imho) and shows TV addicts will watch anything, even if it costs nothing to make and has no script. May as well walk int random office buildings every day and act as an observer.. would be more exciting, you could actually get invovled with it and get asked to go get some coffee.
 
^^this is one of a few shows that i watch(ed) regularly. i like making fun of the people on reality shows, its why i watch real world too. i like these shows for the fact that they have no script, it doesn't seem as contrived as a sitcom does. i can not think of of tv show character that has amused me as much as omarosa (the black woman).

it will end right after people stop finding it necessary to make comments like this, showing how much better they are then the people that enjoy watching it.

Ok...I HATE reality television, but my best friend made me watch it with her last night...I actually kinda enjoyed this show...Trump is the man in this show..he's the Judge Judy of business.

Do you think Bradford should have been fired?

I think Trump was right about it...ultimately the team leader should not have brought him into the board room out of protection for him..but his pompous cocky attitude of giving up his exemption was just STUPID! Stupid mistakes in business, such as that, can ultimately turn into the downfall of any company.
 
I just started watching this season.. missed the first one.

I really liked it! I wasn't surprised Bradford got fired, as Trump alluded to it.. I really think that woman who isn't really into being a team member should go and quickly, as well.
 
I saw an episode here in Ireland on Sunday...(think it was the second ep)... anyways the girls had one the task and where flown off somwhere for a meal etc.. on the ways back to the airport the coloured girl (dont know her name) was really tired and narky... she kept asking the girls to be quiet but they were drunk and enjoying themselves... when they were on the plane the coloured girl was fighting with somebody else who happened to say to her..' talk about the pot calling the kettle black'... and the coloured girl went off on one and started accusing her of being racist and afraid of strong women...... think she is a bit of a mad woman.,

The Apprentice: High school vs College grads

I watched this last night and I have to say that I like the premise. I REALLY want the college grads to get their asses kicked because they are so up themselves.

I won't spoil who won the first episode but I will say that one team was really just totally horrible.

Can't wait for next week's episode. :)
