As far as local broadcasters go, here in MN we have the best:

and the worst.....

note to woog: woog, if you're reading this, I love you man--you've done a whole lot to the gophers over the years--but......NO ONE HAS ANY IDEA WHAT YOU'RE TALKING ABOUT!

amy, that's because we've been stuck with the stiffest board in the industry for 30 years. it's seriously brutal. unless you like listening to someone argue with themselves for 20 minutes about whether or not a pitch was a cutter or a splitter.

jp dellacamera is my #1....he's done tons of US soccer and is also my atlanta thrashers commentator. julie foudy from US womens soccer has great personality, but soccer is all she knows and that's the only place you'll see her.

robin roberts was great in the many years she put in at ESPN, always liked her during women's ncaa basketball tourney.

bob costas i fucking cannot stand. it mostly goes back to the '96 olympics when he completely fucked up the post-interview of the US womens' first win of olympic gold....really got to me that he couldn't get it right, prolly had cue cards and everything and still fucked it up. he calls some horseracing too and i can't stand that.
