tv: shorties watching shorties

I love this show, mainly cause I'm a huge fan of stand up comedy in general... at least GOOD stand up. How can people even compare this show to Beavis and Butthead or Dr. Katz... they are NOTHING a like especially Dr. Katz.... Shorties watching Shorties main point is to animate previously written stand up comedy bits. The babies are just filler used to introduce each new block of clips.

I think they need to find some better selections of which bits to animate in order to make this show work.
 
its very much like Dr. Katz. He would have comedians on his "couch" doing their routines, and they would show pictures to go along with it. Its the same idea.
 
Eh, I suppose its similar with the guest comedians... was Dr. Katz all original material for the show or stuff they had used for stand up purposes in the past?

Is there a Dr. Katz dvd available to anyones knowledge?
 
it was sometimes new material and sometimes just the stand up stuff.
 
i couldnt get past dr katz animation long enough to see the good parts i suppose...
i dont like shorties animation too much either but at least it doesnt make me feel like im watching tv on a malfucntioning vibrating bed
 
the shakiness was supposed to represent the neurotic nature of the characters. duh!
 
anyone notice how Home Movies got rid of the shakiness. I still cant watch and entire episode of shorties, i prefer any adult swim cartoon that comes on before that weird chinese shit? cowboy bebop? nah.
 
^^Haha, ditto. But Bebop is fine for when there is absolutely nothing better to watch. Like infomercials....
