tv: Rehab

A new documentary on HBO follows 6 addicts in an in-patient rehab facility. From their first week to their last and incremental updates of 2, 4, 6, months and the final 2 year update.

Definetly a good documentary, wish they showed more on their use though and not just the rehab\relapse and consequenses of their addictions. Seems like no matter how many times some people go to these programs there are some that are just full blown addicts and will never live a life without drugs.

i got a chance to see it. I thought it was kinda boring til the end when they started to get loaded. Like you said I wish it showed more of their use.. I just find it interesting..

"Rehab" HBO Documentary

Anyone else see this documentary (HBO on Demand)? I thought it was brilliant.

The filmmakers follow 5 or 6 seperate drug addicts though rehab and eventually see where these individuals end up two years later. Extremely sad and frustrating film, especially if you were ever an addict or close to one. You keep hoping for these kids, and they continually keep relapsing and screwing up. If you can deal with some strong emotions and don't mind overly depressing films, I'd recommend this.

That was a really good documentry. I didn't get to see the very ending and only got to watch up to the part where the guy relapsed in the hotel room. I'm hopeing for a happy ending!

I'm pretty sure it was called "Rehab" and yeah it was good.

HBO has the best drug docs.

what drugs were each kid taking???did they really seem dediated to staying clean??did they have lots of family/etc support???

i dont have HBO, booo hooo...

I think all of them were heroin addicts except one who was an IV coke user. It was so sad because some of them were very didicated, had family support and just kept slipping. :(

I called it from the beginning who would stay clean and who wouldnt.

I thought it was kind of boring though. The only really entertaining part was where the meth girl moved in with that "misha" guy and he lived in a trailer park with a bunch of white trash. It was just hilarious when they did the little follow ups and it said "so-and-so now lives with her new boyfriend in a trailer park".

And what was wrong with that one guy who kept going to jail and whos girlfriend was pregnant (I cant remember any names)? Did he have some kind of development disorder, or was he just an idiot? He also had a funny shaped head.

I want to rent a cheap hotel room and shoot up with Tiffany... she was so cute when she was saying 'Now my dad knows I'm a whore!"

are you serious, you see that ho all fuckin tore up in the backseat of homeboys car bruises all over, she was like "we are going to detox, cause we love each other" and dood in front seat wouldn't say shit just waitin for his hit like a good dope fiend.

There was one I.V. Meth user as well.

I think the I.V. Cocaine user had damage from jaw-clenching maybe? Him and that Brannon guy definatly seemed like they had some growing up to do, almost like they were stuck at 16.
