Ok Real World junkies, it's time to get your fix once again. New season starts tonight (January 6th) at 10:00pm eastern and pacific and 9:00pm central on MTV. This season's Real World house will be in San Diego, California.

Compared to last year's lame as f*ck season, I'm sure this one will be great =D I saw some clips from the new season...seems pretty scandalous =D

It should be a great season! I love how they went on a beer run 2minutes after seeing their new house! It was Kinda funny to see that girl get HAMMERED, and puke all over herself! That sucks about her cystic fibrosis!! 2 of the housemate get arrested on the next show, bout time someone gets arrested on the damn show!!!!!!!!! Mike
 
Looks really good. That southern girl and the asian girl are both REALLY hot. And the cystic fibrosis thing hits home, cus a girl im "seeing" has it too, a much worse case actually =(

I was pleased with the first episode. Seems like a scandalous cast. Nothing could be worse than last season anyway 8)
 
so funny. last weekend while MTV was doing their big real world marathon to hype the new season, VH1 airs a show called reality tv secrets reveled where they basically bust out reality television programs as being so fucking scripted and edited ( apparently this was news to like 6 people under a rock somewhere). reer *network catfight*

im still a real world junkie but the casting to roles has grown offensive in some cases and the people are all way too good looking.... like even the "ugly ones" are only "TV ugly." i prolly wont watch the new season very regularly but it certainly looks interesting..... viva "janet" from seattle **SWOON**

No, from this season. I'm surprised you didn't hear about it. It was big news splashed all over the place at the time. One of them slipped a pill in a drink and raped a girl he brought home from a club (i don't think it's a cast member, but a friend but i could be wrong).- you can read about it right here:

Another cast member (a female, again i won't say who but i'll tell you if you PM me) leaves the show and is replaced by the token gay guy that has yet to surface.

~~ just remembered that there were also two other arrest of cast members ths season- one girl and one guy that were less significant.(they were arrested for fighting)

^^hah zarah and i were just talking about that. i think alterna chick is replacing gay guy atm:) perhaps they're counting on her "crazy" untamed antics to result in some sort of bi curious hot tub exploration.

i get very embarassed for people on tv. i watched the 1 hour show last night and had to hide my face numberous times....yet, i will watch more:)
 
I'm so excited about this season...I agree...last season blows...
But oh shit the girls are HOT AS FUCK this season..I mean usually they are all sorta hot but this season they are all out of this world IMO..I'm looking forward to their drama.
Beanergrl how do you know that one of the girls is gonna leave?

As Randall kind of said, MTV owns VH-1, as well as Nickelodeon. I doubt there is going to be much scandal between these different channels because of this. You never know though.
 
this season seems promising, unlike last season.

frankie's a mess mentally. i think that phobia thing was made up. notice that she could walk right next to big boats and ride one, but she can't look at one from a distance? c'mon. someone's trying to get out of work.

brad's annoying. i can't stand guys like that.

cameron's annoying too... then again, i'm one of those 'yankees' she can't stand, so i guess i shouldn't like her either.

i like the rest of the cast though. there's already a lot of sexual tension in the house... i'm predicting lots of sex during this season.
 
I don't watch it nor do i care too. I was at a friends house and did happen to see the ckick make an ass of herself in the hot tub, followed by the vomiting. It was pretty funny. I think it's pretty fucked that they would even have her on there. It's pianfully obvious that she is on there only for the added drama her disease brings to the table. For some reason i just don't think it's right.
 
two episodes into this season and the drama is already blowing up. racial issues, phobias, sexual tension, clique wars...

I think this will be a good season for watching people make asses out of themselves. good times.
