LMFAO. Me too. God, why the fuck did they have to pick TWO Abercrombie Poster Boys for the same cast.

But having two gay guys to go along with them is just AWESOME! Espically since Willy is sort of your sterotypical gay guy and Karamo (sp?) is your sterotypical looking black man with the jersey on and wearing the timberlands. When Karamo told the other guys he was gay i instantly had much respect for the guy. Not just because he said he was gay, but because it must be even harder for a non-feminem black man.
 
Ehh I wasnt impressed all that much with the first episode infact I was a bit annoyed that they made it seem like the Club they went to Shampoo was a gay night club...... I have lived in Philly almost all my life(moved 2 years to northeast Pennsylvania).... I worked in center city a few blocks away from the Real world house... And although Shampoo does have a gay night they are not just a gay night club.. They have all age night, private parties, foam parties etc etc... There are plenty of all gay night clubs in Philly just sucks that they had to play this club off like the way they did...

WOnder where they will work though thats going to be of most interest to me since I have worked a shitload of jobs in Philly.. perhaps its somehting I did or know people who worked with them we will see..... Being out of Philly I am going to have to watch it just like everyone else
 
Im not homophobic or anything, but does anyone else notice how super-supportive and almost "pro-homosexual" mtv has been lately?

Did anyone see those mtv commercials a while ago where its like two men standing next to each other, one just looks like a normal guy and the other is dressed like a baseball player. The baseball player slaps the normal guys ass and the caption says "gay". Then the normal guy slaps the baseball players ass and it says "straight". Then the next caption says "watch and learn". (im pretty sure this is how the commercail went).

I mean, WTF? What was the point of that?

And now they have two gay men on the same cast on the real world, along with two amercrombie and fitch models and one super sexual white girl and one good looking black girl that dates white guys.

It is obvious that mtv set up the roommates that way for as much sexual tension as possible.

I mean, it seems like mtv only cares about ratings now and knows that sex sells and brings ratings. But this show has become totally fake and pointless now, they might as well start showing it on network tv as just another prime-time drama like 90210 or some shit like that.

Sorry, i just had to rant there.
 
so true, i watched and for the first half hour couldnt tell mj and landon apart... im not sure if i can even after the whole show
and the chick wanting mj gets on my nerves
 
The second episode was pretty stupid too. Landon was drunk in the confessional going "I LOVE SHAVONDA" 8) weirdo. And Sarah went pyscho on MJ just cause he was flirting with another girl 8)
 
The point of being a frat boy is that no one can tell you apart from the other frat boys. Anyone whose ever been around a frat knows this. MJ's way cuter than Landon though...

It's way harder for karamo because he actually wants to hang out and be friends with mj and landon. Willy couldn't care less if he becomes good friends with them.

Sarah seems like such a bitch. The manipulative kind that lie to themselves and others.

I think mtv's really cool to be doing what they're doing with this show and others because there's so much sexual tension in our society right now that it's good to see it reflected on tv.
 
Drama is happening way too fast in this season.. it seems like they didn't even really build us up into any plot... it feels like they are putting much time into this seasons episodes.. but I could be mistaken...

Oh well, I might just watch a few more episodes and see what happens...

I'm giving it faith..
 
between shavonda and langdon and sarah and mj, i'm predicting a lot of hooking up in this house.

granted, neither one of these couples has actually hooked up yet, but i'm sure it'll happen. mj's broken up with his girl, so sarah's flirting even more.

sorry that mtv is trying to use its stranglehold on the 18-25 market for something good instead of just trying to sell volkswagons and i pods 8)

i think im actually gonna like this cast. all of the people in the house seem interesting to me. i cant stand sarah and im pretty sure she's a huge poser. for some reason i dont think she's as sexually open/forward as she's pretending to be. the scene where she JUST HAD to take off her bra was uncomfortable beyond words. for the rest of the time they were playing pool she had to keep looking at and adjusting her stupid cans:X FAKER!

Karamo actually kind of pisses me off. i think he wants himself to be WAY more interesting then he actually is. the fact that he makes these big productions to let people know that he's gay just rub me the wrong way [pun intended]. iunno hopefully im wrong and he turns out to be an interesting cat but i could easily see him lacking substance once the shock of his "non gay" gayness dies down.

i think this season should be good times, its the first one in a while that has actually made me want to tune back in for the second episode:)
