has anyone been watching this? Started last week with a 2 hour series premiere. It's on mondays at 9:00 on Fox.


The premise is:

a man holds up a bank, and basically stands there and waits for the cops to arrest him, he pleads no contest and is sentenced to Fox River correctional facility. His reason for pleading no contest and going to Fox River, to help his brother who is convicted on death row for killing the vice presidents brother escape. Impossible right? Well apparently He helped design the buildings.

its a little unrealistic in terms of believability, but the curveballs theyve thrown at this guys seemingly perfect plan(he has the friggin blueprints tattooed on him) but never since 24 have i been so enthused to see the next episode, because youre always wondering "how is he going to get out of this?" this can easily become one of my favorate shows, even though i doubt they will be able to do it for more than one season.
 
They're filming this at the (now-defunct) prison in Joliet, IL--same place they executed John Wayne Gacy. It is an extremely creepy building.
 
Episode 2 I missed...Episode 1 I caught...Must be on the lookout for encore showings. I've been waiting for this show about 4-5 months. It's great!
 
i really like it :)

i agree with the lack of plausiblity, but i don't care. its well acted, written and very suspensful.
 
I hope they show this down in Aus. I don't want to have to download every episode.
 
I actually enjoyed this show. Can't believe I just admitted I enjoyed one of Fox's shows (other than Simpsons of course). Its pretty good though. It seems that they do a good job of capturing the prison scene, but still making it viewable for the public. I wonder what the premise of the show is gonna be when they break out. I mean in 3 seasons, it won't be about breaking out anymore . . .of course I doubt it makes it that far . . . but thats another story.
 
i think it will focus on the conspricacy about why the main character's brother was framed for murder.

and i suck at remember names, so forgive me for being general :)

but yes i agree, this is the only show on prime time major network i actually make time to see.
 
i really enjoy this show, on top of that hopefully we do not see further seasons that will make it look like shit. major networks tend to do that.
 
yea, but how are you gonna make this a multi season thing? after theyre out i dont think there is much else to write about..
