Hello!

I don't watch t.v. much but I'm extremely addicted to Prison Break. I can't say I've ever seen a more thrilling, edge of your seat, heart pounding... uh, show. It's a show you have to follow from the beginning or it's probably not very interesting. The last episode of the season is on Monday and the episode last week made me NERVOUS, it was so intense.

Anyone else addicted to this show? Its set in a prison outside of Chicago (Joliet) called Fox River (fictional I assume) and not only is the plot incredibly twisted, the characters are extremely well developed.

Any predictions on the last episode of the season?

I thought the first episode was a complete joke. It seemed to take away all the best elements of many prison movies, especially the shawshank redemption, and use them really, really badly.

Prison Break (Jay Pinkerton)
Prison Break was always a guilty pleasure for me. Like a Jerry Bruckheimer movie or a prostate exam, I was simultaneously insulted and immensely entertained by it. It wasn't until its two-week hiatus, when I was at work trying to explain to people why they should watch it, when I heard the ongoing plot of the show coming out of my mouth and realized how irretreivably retarded it all sounded without the benefit of a dramatic score or Wentworth Miller's piercing gaze.

Go ahead... try it on a friend. "So they were going to execute his brother, but luckily he'd hidden a nausea tablet under his skin before he'd been arrested because he knew he could make his brother vomit and pick him up in the emergency room through his escape tunnel, so he digs it out of his arm and hides it in a cross, and the priest gives the brother the cross, and he eats it and gets a tummy ache, so..." See? It's ridiculous.

As funny and as true as that is, I still find myself tuning into the show every week.
It vaguely reminds me of Macguyver... with all the improbable coincidences gelling perfectly together.

Good show.

Great show and its pretty accurate too...I just finished up a 70 month bid 4 weeks ago....EVERYONE in prison watches it each week!!!

^^lol my friend in prison told me that too!

I've heard good things about the show, but also that its a plot that you can't exactly jump into. I started watching an episode a couple months back but even though my friend filled me in on the basic plot and what had happened in the previous episdoe, I still couldn't really follow it that well.

I'm more of a "The Shield" girl myself, but since I've heard such good things about it, I guess I'll have to pick up the season on DVD.

tv: Prision Break final eppisode

For a final eppisode and to find out that they dont even get on the plane is a bit of a let down. i know its only a show but i kinda wish they did get on the plane. the whole show now seems like they did all of that for no reason. Even if they didnt get on the plane another episode to find out what happens would be good.

who said there will be a second season? its like there outa prison so what wil they call it "ON THE RUN"?

or maby "PRISION BREAK 2, HIGH SUCURITE WITH NO TOILET OR NO P.I SO THEY DONT HAVE A CHOICE BUT TO STAY IN THEIR CELS". yeah thatl go down well. any 1 else pissed or just me?
