First Adult Swim aired Saved by the Bell for two weeks, now it has acquired every episode of the classic '80s Saturday morning TV show Pee-Wee's Playhouse. Yes, Paul Reubens' immortal character Pee-Wee Herman and the Emmy Award-winning series Pee-Wee's Playhouse is coming to Adult Swim at 11 p.m. Mon-Thurs starting July 10! Adult Swim will air all 45 original episodes along with Pee-wee's Playhouse Christmas Special, providing young adults today a chance to enjoy a truly remarkable and memorable series that hasn't been seen on television in nearly 15 years!

So I guess America has decided to give Pee Wee a pass for his public jerking and other deviant acts? Now there's that Christian forgiveness I've heard so much about.
 
his show always creeped me out and i refused to watch it as a child. he's even more creepy now. isn't it time to grow up? and i wonder what he's like in real life?
 
ya know, i also sort of wanted to add: once a bushwhacker, always a bushwhacker. we had a guy drop his pants and go to work on himself at a bakery in my town one time, and then like a year later the same dude got busted at the ocean for another "lewd act" according to the paper. it's just one of those things.
 
Pee Wee's Playhouse

This show just got added to Adult Swim a couple weeks ago. I remember watching it when I was a kid and I didn't like it very much. Now I watch this stoned and it just makes me laugh non-stop and gives me that Wonder-Showzen "what the fuck?" feeling.

Great show imo.
 
I remember being barred from watching that show as a kid. My parents and their friends just 'couldn't put their finger on' what was wrong with PWH, but know beyond a shadow of a doubt he was not appropriate for kids.

I got a bit more out of the show as an adult, I must say.
