I wish the would have resolved the Matt/hit and run issue as well. maybe they'll cover that next season too...
 
Well if you look at how they cast the actors, I think the son looks a lot like the other doc than he does the "dad"...hmmmmm!
And dammit, I missed all but the last 15 minutes of the finale! I'm freaking out!

The whole mob boss plot was fantastic. Expertly done finale. Cant wait for next season.

The suprise ending (both the hospital and the airport scenes) were absolutely fantastic.

Just curious, I wonder if any drugs are actually smuggled into the USA that way.
 
I just watched another episode but it might have been a rerun because you guys are talking about the hit and run and that's what I just saw. Anyway, I will concede that (at least after consuming a bottle of wine) it is entertaining. And tonight didn't have the revolting stuff that the first episod had. HOWEVER, why in the world did they cast a 30-something to play the son? I swear he could be my father!

This is currently my all-time favorite TV show ... I mean, they really do a good job, and I can't wait for season 2 to come along ... if you have not seen it, well, they are doing a season 1 encore now, even though you will have missed the first 5 episodes or so, you can find the guides onlione...

ALSO, durring the pilot, when Christian is fucking Kimber (the model he meets in the bar, about 9 minutes in) ... WHAT IS THAT SONG PLAYING? I mean, that makes is a GREAT ASong for when yer having some really hard sex, and I'd like a copy!

Season 1 DVD box-set (not the 44 minute TV episodes, but the full 90 minute episodes) somes out in mid-June...I can't wait, got my pre-order in already ...
 
im so glad my shit cable company offers fx on basic and not extended basic. While I do feel some regret for liking what is essentially an expensive soap opera, I really do like it.

Season 2 had better live up to the original.
 
I think Season 2 is July or June.

The whole "My marriage is falling apart" has been done recently too much I'd have to say. Tony Soprano AND FX's other big series The Sheild both are doing it, and I watch all 3. I think they need to stray away from it because it's just not that interesting anymore, but otherwise this show is awesome.

I'm curious to see if the drug dealer comes back in some fashion. ;)
 
Shit! Took me a while to find this thread...

Nip/Tuck is one of the best shows on TV. Me and the ol' fiance are hooked on it. It is so over the top, but in a good way. I love the characters. They exemplify excess in every way.

I think the new season begins in June. I cant wait.
