i LOVE this show! carlos mencia's comedy is right up my alley. does anyone else like him?
 
judging from the amount of replies this thread is NOT getting, i guess most people to hate him, or don't care to know him. he is really harsh and frank about matters, which could turn people off, but that's why i do like him.
 
mencia is brilliant! love his show, bought season 1, after id downloaded it all, got all of season 2 so far.....

and all this shit about mexicans, its just as true in california as all the jeff foxworthy jokes about rednecks in the south is...

ive lived in the deep south half my life, and the rest of it in southern california...and its all true what both of em say ;)
 
I would catch his show whenever nothing was on at night ... then i broke down the other night and bought the DVD set of his show ...

i gotta admit i have not laughed so hard in years. Sometimes the jokes totally bomb ... but I can over look them for the Dee Dee Dee jokes ... :) classic
 
apparently he's actually not from mexico but if i recall correctly from some central american counrty...possibly panama....but he acts like he's of mexican decent.

and his real name isn't carlos mencia.

alot of ppl refer to him as "menstealia" because he steals alot of his jokes from other comedians.

This guy would have been canceled promptly had Chappelle not bailed on his show. The only reason anyone watched this guy to begin with was because he was lucky enough to get the time slot following a better show.

I hate "Mencia," because, as this reply states, he is a liar and a cheat. His real name his Ned Holness, he steals people's jokes, and he plays up his fake Mexican persona for personal game. Fuck Menstealia, and boycott his piece of shit, Mexican Chapelle's Show ripoff.

I mentioned the whole situation in a thread about stand-up comedy cd's in NEMD, so I didn't want to belabor the point, but Rogan ate Mencia for breakfast. For some amazing stand up comedy, check out Rogan's Shiny Happy Jihad. Mencia is a huge fraud, and has become quite rich doing so. The FUCK even got his own HBO special, a privilege usually reserved for the best of the best in comedy.
 
Yeah I remember something like that a while back. I had always hated Carlos Mencia because, stolen jokes or not, he is like the bologna of stand up comics. It was probably your shit on BL that made me go off researching Joe Rogan a while back. But man, I don't understand why it was Kanye's mom that had to die.
