tv: Lost season 3 - Crap?

i watched all of season 1 and 2 and only the first few from season 3. i was really hoping for some answers and shit to make sense but it seems like the writers arent concerned about trying to make anything make sense. it seems they're just trying to drag stupid shit out as long as possible that really has no important meaning at all..

I really, really need a little more direction and a couple questions answered in the third season or im going to get frustrated and walk away. The same thing happend to the x Files after a few seasons, too.
