so, i guess we can all say that nothing can replace 'the sopranos', but what does everyone think of this.

i've only seen one episode and i'd say i'm curious. and confused.
 
i like it a lot, but i was kinda hoping that kid died, because no offense to his real talents, i am sure he is a wonderful surfer, but his acting makes you gag. he is soooo wooden and wierd when he speaks.

but the characters in this show are great, i love butchie, and john and al bundy is sooo great too. good show, i am really liking it.
 
in my humble opinion, its weird for the sake of being weird. maybe it'll pan out. i'll let a few eps accumulate and watch it on a sunday or something on demand straight through.
 
i've seen two episodes now and, like poopie, i'm mostly curious. it seems like it's trying a little bit too hard to be quirky. also, some of the characters are way too angry...

i'll watch another.

what stuck me though was that it isn't like lost, or heroes....i actually dig the characters, and want to stick around no matter what the quirky outcome.
 
How could ANYONE have had the ability to watch the first episode as it aired while we were all spending the next hour(s) analyzing the ending of the Greatest Show In The History Of Television?
 
ok so is the kiddo the next jesus? coming back from the dead, and john keeps saying "see god" and the way all those people want to protect the family, and serve them. neat stuff! i am really digging this show.

johns last name, monad...the metaphysical and theological view that all is of one essence, and this essence is sometimes called the monad. is john supposed to be god?

I just finally started watching this show. I watched all three episodes on On Demand. So far I like it. I agree with what Darthmom said, that kid is a horrible actor. Every line the kid says has like no emotion or anything behind it. It sounds like he is just reading his lines and not acting them out.

Other than that, it has me intrigued and wanting to see what unfolds in the upcoming episodes.
 
i saw the first 2 episodes and I thought it was perfectly cryptic
I like butchie and john the most

john seems to be able anything out of his pocket when he is asked and he keeps saying "what do you want butchie?"

I think it has a lot of room for growth
 
I like the show now. I almost gave up on it, but episode three was interesting enough to most likely keep my attention for the remainder of the season.
