tv: jerry springer

I don't really like any of them, but once upon a time maury at least had a serious show, everytime I see him now when flipping through the channels it's a paternity test, which wouldn't be so bad if it wasn't the exact same thing every time. The girl says she nevernevernever cheated on the guy the test comes back saying the guys not the father and suddenly the girl has a dozen more names of guys to test. And the audiances are getting just as bad as Springer's, the whole time the girls saying how much she loves the guy and shes sure the kid is his they love her and boo the guy the second he walks onto the stage, but when the test comes back and the girl starts crying they all cheer for the guy, it's pitiful, but hey, what else is on daytime tv?

Here's something to put in your pipe and smoke. If somebody you knew pretty well or in your family formally invited you on an all-expense-paid trip to be on Jerry Springer with him/her, and you could not speculate as to why to save your life, would you accept?

fuck no.

it's just a little too white trash for me, i think.
