i was wondering if anyone has seen this show on discovery. two ex-thieves case a home to rob. one sets up the deal with the owners, checks out what they have to steal and sees how easy it will be to break in. the other one breaks in and robs the place while the owners watch on tv in a van outside.

if you haven't seen it, you must. just to see the reactions of the owners while the guy totally wrecks their house. when these people agree to do the show, i don't think they realize what they are getting themselves into. they probably just think that the thief will break in, look around for some goods, and run out the door with them. then they sit there in horror as the guy kicks in a window and ransacks their home, throwing everything they own on the floor and breaking stuff left and right.

after all the destruction, they hook up the owners with new security measures. then the thieves come back at a later date to test the new security without the owners knowledge. they've been able to get in 2 out of 3 times. and the owners look pretty embarrassed, especially after the emotional breakdowns they had watching there house get robbed.

i just love this show. it's a great twist on reality tv. any comments?

it is a different reality show and that i like about it... it isnt teen/young adult drama and beer but something much more facinationg... you get to see these people essentially raped of their belongings and securities/safe feelings on live tv

saw it with my little sister, who's 12, the other day.

I was generally unimpressed and my lil sis kept on remarking how "fake it looked."

well if it was the most recent one, it definitely wasn't as good as previous episodes. the most recent was the one with the young couple that just moved into an old house. the best episode yet was the three guys living together. the thief made off with a few hundred thousand dollars worth of stuff. the guy that owned the house had a real picasso in his closet.

nah, my opinion is... i don't think it looks fake at all.
