TV: Hannity and Colmes

I hate to bring this up, because just thinking about this show gives me the sensation of being both bored and annoyed at the same time...

I don't understand: This show sucks on so many different levels, it's insane. On the basic level, you have a couple of guys whose job is to literally act out conservative/liberal stereotypes at all costs. On a deeper level... well, that's the problem! There is no deeper level, no matter how hard someone may look!

I watch the O'Reilly Factor at least 4 times a week because it's entertaining. I'm not going to say anything regarding O'Reilly's somewhat twisted views, but he at least seems to have something going on upstairs. And he's a kick in the pants to watch in a debate.

I don't understand why this show comes on right after O'Reilly. It is not interesting, not in the least. How does it have such a ridiculous time slot? Are there that many people who are seriously entertained/stimulated by this show? Neither Hannity nor Colmes seems to make any hint whatsoever that they are kidding about their entire show. This, to me, is very disturbing.

But I will be attending the debate upcoming between Hannity and Jerry Springer.

I can't wait to see Springer destroy Sean onstage. It will be great.

Wow. Sean Hannity is debating Jerry Springer. I am completely dumbfounded. I can't believe this.

I can believe it, I just can't believe that these clowns are given exclusives and their own show.

Have you ever listened to his radio show? It's pretty inciteful. I recommend it.

Well, maybe that was a bit short-sighted of a jab. I always did enjoy Springer's personality, and I do realize that he used to be maypr of what's it called. The only reason I used him as evidence of this show's crappiness is that I feel like anything these clowns (Hannity and Colmes) do can be used as evidence against them by default.

So what exactly could I expect from Jerry Springer's radio show?

I only watch the Fox News Cable Channel here in australia for a laugh. I just think that the whole channel is a hoot! It's nothing but non stop Republican party suck up material with every peice of "journalism" seen through Red, White & Blue coloured glasses. Their so called "Fair and balanced" approach is a joke when it is so clearly full of "all the way with the USA" jingoism. I could go an bag individual presenters, but it's the people behind it that I more angry with. I love the states, so I feel I have to at least apologise that an expat Aussie has created this monster.

I enjoy Springer's radio show because he doesn't try to act like he's the end-all know it all that Hannity acts like. He simply lays out the situation, and lets the listener-callers decide.

Also, he (as well as everybody on Air America radio) don't ever screen calls too, which is why I like it.

If you are interested, check your local AM listings to find the Air America station in your city.

And BTW, Springer's old city was Cincinnati.
