Oh yeah, does anyone know if the people on COPS actually get paid for being on it? I've heard that they do, but isn't it legal to tape anything in public you want anyway?

I'm not such a big fan. I wonder how many of those guys that are tackled for the TV cameras did nothing wrong!?! Those camera's just make those cops bigger pieces of shit than normal, which can't be safe.

A competent attorney can always subpoena the entire unedited version of the tapes, to be used in any criminal or civil proceedings in which police misconduct is alleged.

Also, I'm having a little trouble finding this FL law that prohibits camera crews in police vehicles. Can you point me in the right direction? The only thing I could find was a statute that exempted video crews from public record laws.

i never get tired of watching COPS. the best arrest i recall has got to be the one where they apprehended a naked guy on PCP who was spraying people with a fire hose.

watching it right now cop pulled over some guy and dude jumped out of the car and started blasting at the cops when the busted hm the whole police dept was there haha there was even a dude with a shotgun inches from his head while they had him on the ground

Cops never fails to make me terribly sad. Every time I see it, its some pig using his power to intimidate some poor crackhead into revealing his rocks and pipe.
