TV: Cops

14.gif
for episodes where someone gets tasered!

I can't help but watch it. It's like a trainwreck...one filled will shirtless white trash and bug-eyed crackheads...and you can't turn away from it. :D

I love this show.

Because no matter how bad I think my life is going, I watch Cops and always think "well, at least I'm not that guy!"

The older episodes are best, cause sometimes every single cop and crook are sportin mullets and it is freakin hilarious. 80's redneck clothin styles too.

best show ever, I watch atleast 4 episodes a day on average. I love seeing people getting busted for drugs and seeing what they have, you can pretty much tell someones lifestyle just by looking at them and by what drugs they have on them and how much.

One of my favorite shows of all time, absolutely entertaining. It's kind of har to believe some of these people would consent to being een like that, COPS shows the worst society has to offer at their worst, doing often embarrassing criminal acts, and yet they still opt to be shown on T.V.? Well, I'm glad they do, otherwise they haveto distort faces, and whats watching someone run from the police if you can't see him eyeing the street, looking around nervously, waving that giant flag that says im taking off! Good stuff.

Definitly an interesting show. I mean who doesn't love watching people make an ass of themselves. I think one of the funnier ones was when the guy called the cops because someone "stole" his car then he ends up telling the cop he had been using meth all day, and the guy asked for money and to borrow the car to get more, but he never came back.

My roommate was flipping channels months ago and we came across an episode of COPS called "Tased and Confused." It was suprisingly amusing.

I'm not such a big fan. I wonder how many of those guys that are tackled for the TV cameras did nothing wrong!?! Those camera's just make those cops bigger pieces of shit than normal, which can't be safe.

I dunno, carl, I always thought the cameras would force the cops to adhere to protocol moreso than usual.

I love that show. Probably my favorite. When I watch it with friends it's nothing but jokes the whole time it's on.

8)

I know a few states, Georgia and Florida, and likely more, created laws against allowing cameras into police cars. Cases have had to be dropped becasue unnecessary force was used and it was on film, and even a few lawsuits have stemed from the show against police departments.

Most definately. Go back, watch the early shows and the 1 week pilot they did in Florida, it's a very different show.

Now, you'll only notice young, clean, buzzcut-type cops. Only scruffy ones are the officers giving the breifings. It's definately an image thing that the departments want to enforce, and they use the show to do such. I miss when you'd watch grizzled old fuck-off cops tackle some 20-something crackhead. Then procede to smack the crap outta him or spray pepper spray in his face WHEN he's on the ground in a hold. :D

i wonder if you ever bothered watching the show, because i have and i only ever ended up feeling bad for about 2% of the people.

it may come as a surprise to you, but there's no shortage of people stupid enough to get busted doing stupid shit.

I love cops, the old ones are the best. Anyone seen that involved the huge naked dude on PCP that punched a fence? In the background you here someone say "Not Again" so it had happened before :)

Yeah, the naked PCP guy was a classic.
My favorite is when a lady calls the cops( I believe in a Dallas episode) because she got ripped off on a $20 crack rock. She actually wanted the cops to get her money back for her. Damn CRACKWHORES!!!!
Has anyone seen the episode where the cops pull a bunch of kids over and they find ecstasy, weed, meth, and what look like a bunch of rave flyers in the back seat? I believe the driver was wearing UFO's too. I wonder if they were coming back from a rave I went to?
