So i have a bottle of mi iophen nr liquid 10/5 or whatever. 10mg of codeine per.. Anyways, i usually take like 3-4 10mg tabs to get a buzz, but i took that much of this stuff (40mg worth) and didnt feel a damn thing. Just wanting some tips on how much i need to take to get a feeling? Sorry if this is the wrong section also. Thanks

My unprofessional google search says tussionex contains hydrocodone not codeine. being that as it is, a newborn infant probably couldn't get high off of 40mg of codeine so I'm going to assume you mean hydrocodone.
the product says it contains two drugs hydro and something else but they are both fused with an edible plastic (polistirex). this means the drugs will last longer but release much more slowly so 40mg worth might only feel like 15 or 20mg.
I wouldn't suggest using this to get high, it sounds sketchy and you may have to take 1.5 times your normal dose to feel something. I say "may have to take" because I have no experience with this, I have no idea how much you will have to take to feel high. It is also possible someone has diluted the liquid to cover their ass.

Tussionex is 10 mg Hydrocodone polistirex per 5 ML, but it is 12 hour time release and is mixed with 8 MG chlorpheniramine polistirex (Anti-Histamine).
Your dose of 40 mg would work out to be the equivalent of about 13 MG Hydro per 4 hours along with a fairly large dose of a not so pleasant allergy med.
When I was prescribed this and had no tolerance , that was about the right amount to feel nice all day long; If you are used to 40 MG IR, you would have to take too much ChlorPhen. to get where you want to be.
It is best used to wipe out most symptoms of a cold or flu.
Drink safely!

Yea, its hydrocodone thats what i was saying. And it's miced with guafenisen or however you spell it. I know its not diluted or anything, because it comes straight from the pharmacy seeing as it was prescribed to me for actually having a cough. But you said it was a plastic in it to slow down the digestion process? I know that theres ways around that, i've heard of people doing something to seperate dxm and the polistrex from Delsym and shit like that. So, does anyone know how i can remove the plastic stuff from mine, to make it kick in any faster?
