Opioids Tussionex (Your Opinion)

I'm curious to see if people out there prefer the feeling Tussionex gives you compared to taking Hydrocodone in pill form? For me at least the Tussionex buzz is far superior to the regular pill form Hydro. If you have a preference one way or the other feel free to respond, and if you want explain the reason for your choice. Don't get me wrong I like normal Hydro just fine, I just feel that Tussionex puts you on a different level of nod mode. I just picked up a bottle today so that's why I had this great idea to see what everyone thinks of it and how it stacks up.

I will, I have a high tolerance to opiates. I've had up to 4 oz of Tussionex in an evening before, so I will be fine. I only drank 2 oz tonight, it was enough to get me nodding a little. I know what you mean about the chlorpheniramine, it does make it feel a little "dirty" but is usually hardly noticeable. The pro's out weigh the cons in my opinion. Oh, I almost forgot to say....I know it's unusual to see an 8 oz bottle, it seems like most people get stuck with a 4 oz bottle if there lucky. I guess I lucked out cause I always get an 8 oz from my doc. This is the 4th 8 oz bottle I've got sense the 1st of the year. I actually have bad sinus issues, so I pretty much get it filled every 24 days or so. I my doc.

My dr prescribed me a bottle of it. I take norco 3 times a day for chronic pain. I skipped a dose of norco for the syrup and did not notice anything remarkable.

But when I had no tolerance to the hydrocodone a 1/2 dose of the syrup had me buzzing. I felt so good. The sun was shining, the birds were singing. I Stopped feeling sick.

imo I prefer vicodin/lortab over hydrocodone syrups like tussionex, but this is really more of a subjective question you're asking (unless one prefers one over the other for some specific reason)

For sure those big glass 473 ml bottles are where it's at. I've never got 16 oz before and probably never will. The 8 oz I normally get is fine with me, better than a 4 oz bottle.

Some doctors are a little too script happy , considering that's 48 extended-release doses for a normal opiate-naive person. What kind of cold lasts that long? lol

Maybe he knows about your tolerance and is hooking you up?

Yeah, around here we just say stoned, on the nod or opiated. I love the codeine/APAP elixir syrup way more than the codeine-promethazine combo. For some reason, I get an actual buzz drinking the codeine/APAP elixir. Usually, I don't get any kind of buzz from codeine, but from that elixir I do.

Thanks for that info. I've already done all that research along time ago, but the info could be useful to other people on here that are not familiar with Tussionex "Pennkinetic" Suspension. Oh and by the way it does contain Hydrocodone Bitartrate, it's just in Polistirex form.

Yeah my doctor definitely knows me, I've been seeing him/her for the last 7 years. I'm also on Norco 10/325 mg 4 times a day which my doctor has been prescribing to me for 3 years now. (car accident) My back has never been the same. Sucks.

I've never felt like a "BADASS" while drinking tussionex, or taking any opiate for that matter. They just make you feel good. Calm down there gangster....
