turning rock back into powder

So it seems that crack is much more pure that the coke around here, because cooking it gets rid of the cuts. So how would one cook up that crack back into powder, to make some pretty pure coke. Thanks.

Wash it with water, then disolve it in acetone and add .1 ml of hydrochloric acid for each gram of base. Evaporate the acetone and you'll have cocaine HCl.

Diatriabe gave you the condensed version... but as you will read from me many times - EARCH - the "how to turn crack to coke" has been covered a numebr of times...
EDIT - before I close it letme explain what we are doing...
ok, to turn "Cocaine HCl" (powder) into "Cocaine Freebase( Crack aka "freebase" - same thing, unlesss yer a raver, in which case you call it "freebase" because"crack is dirty") .. anyway, in order to go from A to B you must liverate that hydrochloride moluecule from the cocaine, well, in order to go from B to A you mustget that HCl salt back - how you can do it? Well, th above metohd sounds like an easy way... the obnly way I have is a textfile like 9 pages long that goes into great detail using chemical you probably cantget at your local HomeDepot.
In fact, I am going to leave this open to see if we can get a simple "kkitchen" methond... though the best way is to sell the rockto acrack head for twice it's worth in powder then go buy somepowder... ie, if you have 2 grams of crack, you MIGHT get .75 to 1.25g powder if you use the advanced complex (not sure about the above) .. but you could sell those 2 gram of crack for like $200 which could buy you like a 5 grams of powdered coke (of course you would haveto break down those 2 grams of crack into .1g "chips" you'd sell to crack heads fore $10-$20 each .. seriously, thats hot fun, I woukld avouid the entire situation... jsut smoke the crack and learn yer lession... or give it to a girl for sex...

Seriously though, I too say sell the crack and buy coke with that money. You should be able to find a crack fiend willing to pay good money for some rock.

If you had freebase coke, and converted it to the salt, wouldn't you actually end up with slightly more in weight of the salt than you had of the freebase?

^^^ Yes, in theory... but the conversion wouldn't be 100% efficient and some of the weight of the Crack would be baking soda anyway. So you'd end up with less .hcl in the end.

Not if you wash the crack with water first. The method tha diatribe posted works, I've used it many times. It's not 100% efficient but it's good enough.

[ 25 February 2003: Message edited by: Skyline_GTR ]A kitchen BASE ==> HCl would be lucky to give you 50% of the amount of cocaine you started with... like I said, sell the crack which is worth FAR MORE then the coke (ie 2 gramks of coke is worth a national average of $100 while 2 grams of crack broken up could bring you a few hundred) .. or there is everyons favorite "option #2"....
