Opioids turning red after shooting OP

I just shot up the "new" OP 80s. Its been about 8 months since i last shot up. a few minutes after shooting up, my skin started turning red. it then became hot to the touch and when i scratched it it started to burn and has continued to burn. im also shaking like i have the chills, but like i said its hot to the touch. my boyfriend shot up with me and has none of these symptoms. were thinking i might be allergic to something in the new formula. has anyone run into this problem before or have any idea what it could be? any help would be awesome.

thats what we were thinking. do you think taking an antihistamine say an hour before i shot up, would help me avoid these problems?

also, i've never had an allergic reaction to them when i eat or sniff them. is it just because i might have done too much, or just because i shot them in general?

It could work, depending on the severity of the reaction, you may still need medical attention. (We can't tell you the severity of your reaction or how severe any reactions you may or may not have in the future.)

true. well it didnt seem that severe. its started to go away now. what if i had a micron filter, because wouldnt that filer out all the binders and shit i am allergic to? which antihistamine would you all suggest?

For shooting pills it is IMPERATIVE to use micron filters.. Especially with the OP's, since they gel up and are overall crap for using any ROA other than taking them orally..

What method did you use to break it down and create an injectable solution? They don't break down in water properly and if that is all you did yo uprobably got a lot of undesirable gunk and bullshit in your shot that can be very harmful for you..

Since we are not doctors and cannot even see you in person, the only way you are going to get an educated medical answer/treatment, is to go to the doctor/hospital. At best, we can speculate until the sun comes up and still not have the correct answer to your predicament. Despite the wealth of knowledge our users on here possess, I would not put my health in the hands of strangers on the internet.

Gambling with your health is not a good idea. If your symptoms do not start to improve soon please PLEASE go to the hospital. Your health is worth it, don't you think?

yes, i at least know that if they had not gone away soon i would go to a dr. haha no worries there. but to reassure every one, they are diminishing. i also understand how important it is to get a micron filter for pills, and if we decide to continue with this ROA we will get some.

but i used the microwave method from this post HERE. would a micron filter get everything besides the opioid out?

and thanks NT for the info on those :D

Yes, if you use a .2 micron filter when shooting pills, it will be able to filter out all binders/fillers/inactives/bacteria that are larger than .2 microns. This should leave you with a clear solution containing only the desired opioid in the pill.

For comparison, using balled up cotton can only filter out particles larger than ~50 microns. A .2 micron filter will filter out things up to 250 times smaller, roughly.

sweet thats what i thought :) i know im not allergic to the opioid since ive shot that before and been fine, so it must be something in the new formula. i definitely think a micron filter would be the best way to go, since as it was previously stated "we can't tell you how severe any reactions you may or may not have in the future.." so i dont really know if gambling with my life like that is such a good idea. thanks for the help all :D

if it's a histamine reaction (which is what it sounds like to me) take some benadryl, it can help. I'm not even sure micron filters would work with the new OPs just because of how much they gel up. You should look into the microwave/freezer method. This seems to be the safest (not that shooting these pills can be considered anything close to safe).

P.S.- don't shoot OPs, it will kill you
