Some of the waxed based ER mechanisms like that in Avinza and Kadian are designed as way polymers that will seep the morphine out over time based of the acidic levels in the GI system. I can basically tell when and where to release. Don't believe me look for the video on Kadian dosing mechanism. However, using the acidic based liquid I would think this would be the best as it would best mimic the conditions in the GI and therefore release as desired probably better than in water. Also it certainly will help with the taste.

Would This Method Do Any Good???
I have other medications in capsule form that you can easily open them up by just pulling or screwing the capsule open. Once this is done I could take the powder form of whatever medication is in it out. If I then crush the ER morphine tablet into fine powder and then put it into the now empty pill capsule and swallow. Once the capsule is dissolved it would release al off the crushed ER morphine tablet. Does anyone think this will do any good?
