Turning extracted oil into a salt

I dont have much chemistry knowledge and it doesnt seem very feasible, but would it be possible to turn an oil extract into a salt? Quite a few searches came up with little result.

You could change your extraction method to get shatter as an end result. As far as rendering it as a salt I'm not sure, would be interesting though

My thoughts are cleaning out a pipe used to smoke synth noids in and re-purifying the gunk.

Or are you meaning something totally different?

@powerfarts; No, im talking about changing extracted resins like BHO into a powder.

@iodo; Shatter is great, but for some reason I think itd be pretty novel to have thc in powder form from a plant source, opppsed to synthetic thc.

The only thing ive seen that may be even remotely similar to what im saying is thc acetate, however it requires heavily controlled precursors.

You can't easily. THC is not an amine.

THC acetate is still a glassy wax.
