Was it one of those ones you fill with sand/water at the base of it? I had something like that happen and ding my car, it could have been avoided but I'm sure you thought it would never blow over!
Google Chrome isn't loading pages for me as well as it used to, I think I might have to go back to Firefox. Can't think of what it would be apart from not getting quite as much ping as I used to on my connection.

It was indeed one of the water filled ones. The winds in Melb sat night were pretty full on where we live. They even left the conifers along the side of the drive way at a 60 degree angle, had to tie them up too.
Ahh well all fixed, well it will be tomorrow morning!

My niece was nearly abducted yesterday afternoon. Some sick fuck pulled up next to her as she was walking home from school (she's 14) and tried to get her into his fucking car - she froze for a second, but then the tough little cookie screamed blue murder and ran the other way. He took off and a nice lady stopped to see if she was OK. My niece refused to get in her car (smart) and so the woman just followed for a distance to make sure he didn't try again. Luckily one of her friends was driving past with his mum; they stopped and she jumped in. She was a mess, absolutely terrified, but she's here with us - and that's all that matters. My brother in law took her to the police station and she made a full statement and gave a description.
It's times like this where i allow myself to think about what i would do to that man if i ever met him face to face. I'm not a violent person by nature, but it's hard to think kind thoughts about my fellow man when someone I love so much nearly became a potential statistic.

Samadhi, Goes to show there are some fucked up people in this world...
A friend of mine (She's 18) was walking her dog through a local park the other day and this freak jumped out of the bushes with nothing but his socks and undies on and grabbed her by the arms and tried pulling her back into the bushes...
Apparently she spat, scratched, yelled, kicked and this dude wouldn't let go, until another guy who was jogging around started to run over and then that's when the freak let go and ran off..
She did the same thing and went to the cop shop to give a statement but dunno what good that will do. She is pretty shaken up about the whole thing.

Samadhi/GurnEr, that is fucked, those sick fucks piss me off. Being the father of a 13 year old girl, those stories scare the crap out of me and make me ultra angry.
On a more trivial note, fucking windscreen still broken, guy came to fix it only to advise that it has to be an original Holden windscreen with a rain sensor
which costs more $800 vs $200, and now I have to wait again.

Wow that's messed up Samadhi & Gurner Josh! Glad they were both okay in both situations!!! I'd highly recommend anyone old enough doing some form of proper self-defense (not boxer-cise classes lol) or a martial art. E.g. I'm pretty sure most krav maga clubs hold workshops specifically for women/children etc.

Hahaha just found out I have my end of semester exams for both Uni subjects on the same day. Fuck you life. After a solid six hours of exams on one day with a 1.5 hour break in between I'm going to be fucking neurotic!
