Mind melting seems positive to me.

My sister is in hospital being massively re-hydrated, and having a CAT scan, after being silly enough NOT to take the daily medication she needs in the past 6 months. I just found out, and it's too late at night for me to do anything now. I have to wait until tomorrow to find out what's going on, and how serious this is. I leave for Europe in less than two weeks ... if there's something seriously wrong with her .... well .... I don't know what's going to happen.

Helpless. Tired. Stressed. :(
 
^ I sincerely hope she returns to health soon and stays that was for a long time to come. I'm sure your sister will pick up a valuable lesson from this in regards to the medication.

Please come back and share with us when she pulls through. I hope you have a great time in Europe.
 
^ Thanks for the concern. Turns out she has a massive cluster of clots on her brain, so she'll be in hospital for a while. Just visited her though, and she's in good spirits, and is able to get out of bed, so she's doing well, considering.

Still, it's a shit situation nonetheless.

I accidentally transposed two number when I was paying for something online. So my new ugg slippers won't come until next week, I was looking forward to getting them soon! :(

The ones I'm wearing now are almost falling apart :(
 
Me and my partner spent most of our saturday night in the ER.

We were involved in a head on and both rushed straight to the hospital. Everyone in the other car walked away from it with no injuries (although the driver was arrested on the spot cause it was all his fault)

Now we're both in huge amounts of pain and have been told to expect worse.

^ Holy shit! :( I hope you start mending sooner rather than later and they gave you lots of drugs to deal with the worsening pain.

What injuries did you sustain? (if you don't mind me asking)

Gahhh me too hun! It started as a cold, went for 2 whole weeks, now has developed in my chest. I've not done any exercise for 3 weeks, and tried to go for a run yesterday but got about 2km....my lungs were NOT HAPPY :!

I had such a sore throat yesterday all day... I didn't know if I had inhaled fumes, was dehydrated or had some reflux overnight. Turns out today that it's just a dose of the Flu, still feel crappy though :(

I drove down to the surf and plunged myself in to try and clear my sinuses a bit today, felt good but was stuffy again straight away. Plus I was looking forward to good tides this week to do some fishing in the afternoons, but I have to rest I guess...

The doctor at the hospital was useless (gave my partner morphine before checking on her injuries) and only gave us panadine forte to take home for our injuries.

I ended up with smashed knee caps and a crushed sternum, and my partner has a jarred wrist, crushed sternum and we were both have internal bruising and whiplash.

Going to see our gp tomorrow to try and get someone competent to look at us.
 
I found out tonight that if I had been at the members draw at the club after the State of Origin I would have won a fridge. You always have to be there for the draw and my name came up :(

Dammit! :(
