Had some registered mail addressed to my parents' house to pick up today. Went to the post office after getting off work late just now and was refused service because I got there five seconds after they changed the sign to 'closed'. They blamed it on the system.

FUCK THE SYSTEM.

Normally I wouldn't have tried after getting off work late but I moved to the other side of town and try to minimise driving to this side of the bridge.

Did you know you can get stuff sent from one post office to another?

You basically just need to send a letter to the office where it's being held, requesting it be sent to another location (eg the city if you work there) and include a photocopy of your driver's licence.

I am frowning because every time i see Shal's (Josh's) RIP thread it makes me feel so empty and sad.

I also can't be fucked with work.... there's too much drama going on there and not enough professionalism.

I have had a 3 day weekend and it seems like i am dreading going back more than anything now after having some time away. I think i am just tired of working every Saturday.

I think you're referring to the tanned, wife beater wearing 'tradie' seen walking down the street on hot days.

These people comprise about 2% of the total construction worker population.
