I've heard that taking Tums followed by Adderall enhances the effects. I've tried this a couple times and have never been convinced there is much difference.
But anyway, earlier today I took some Tums AFTER taking Adderall. I wasn't even seeking anything additional, either. I just happened to have heartburn. And BAM this time I DID feel some extra juice there. Not to mention it seemed to kick in quicker than usual. Does that make sense considering I took the Tums afterwards? I was under the impression people took Tums before Adderall when seeking something more.
This happened after a multi-day break from Adderall. I do tend to think my initial dose(s) following a break/detox are a little stronger than usual. But not to this extent, I don't think. It was a bit too much, actually, and I wasn't exactly enjoying the feeling. On Adderall I typically feel calmer (sort of) but today I was more jittery and hyper than usual.
I'm thinking I took the Tums 30 or maybe 60 minutes after the Adderall. And the Tums dose was 1500.
Edit: It just occurred to me that I also took an omeprazole this morning, which isn't usual. I took the Tums later when I was impatient with the former not kicking in. Now I'm thinking the omeprazole (aka Prilosec) may be the bigger reason.
