I have a small amount of Subutex. Enough to get me through the first two days with pretty extreme discomfort. I'm wondering if Kratom can help this process. As always I get mixed revues. I'm wondering if it will interfere with the subutex or if I should wait till I'm out and then use it for the remaining days. I'm not trying to feel 'good' I just want it to be a less painfull experience. Any advice would be great. I read so many threads and they are all so contradictive. I am genuinely trying to quit and just want some good advice. I made it almost 48 hours but gave in. But now I have the sub and I've heard Kratom really works. Thanks. Yours truely, future ex junkie. Just want to know if it will help the process. :) I also sadly have a pretty hefty drinking problem if that gives any more advice. It's next on my list. And I'm gonna beat this.

Hi OP I will move this to Other Drugs as I think it is the right forum for your inquiry. I hope you get a lot of replies

My best advice is to tamper down and possibly see your doctor or therapist and see if they can help. Substance addiction usually is to conceal underlying issues so it is best to develop a constructive plan to work on those as to not relapse. Kratom will most likely help. Use it to taper down though, not replace one addiction with another as that is counter-productive.

get some benzos. xanax or some kpins. youll feel sooooo much better. they really really help with the withdrawls

Taper man cold turkey sucks
i would try to spread your sub dose over a couple days and then jump off
^ i get cravings from xanax when I dose to early into withdrawal.

Yeah, an efficient taper plan is probably the best way to go if you have a very high tolerance. Cold Turkey is very hard to do especially if the symptoms are severe. Whenever I jump off, I just taper as quick as I can, as I find if I prolong it, I may just start using again.

Maybe look into Loperamide. I also second theBricks in that benzos really do help, and they seem to lower the temperature you have when you start to boil from the heat and also reduce the coldness you feel when you start to sweat and feel like you are being left for dead in Antarctica.

Kratom should help, but it definitely depends on your usage levels.

Good luck

^^ I also get cravings when I hit up benzos and other GABA agonists and just don't give a fuck. The lowered inhibitions, plus the junky voice in your head telling you to go cop, is really a powerful combination. Benzos really do help however, and if you can control the uninhibited urge to use (really want to quit from your heart), then they are great.

Kratom can help with cravings and some WD symptoms - this is from my own experience. I wasn't in full withdrawal but starting to get anxiety and flushes. The K calmed me until I could get my script. You need a good standard of product. I don't know about mixing with sub though.

When you say you have a drinking problem, are you an alcoholic?

Cheers
