I am currently usin 3 to 4 8mg dilaudid intravenously a day to keep from withdrawing. I need to know what this would be in comparison to 25mcg fentanyl patches. I am going to stop using the dilaudid and start using the patches. Will one patch keep me from being sick? I want to wean down by cutting the patches smaller and smaller each use. So approximately how many dilaudids is one patch equal to like throughout the 72 hours. Any information on this situation will be greatly appreciated.
