More ramblings, perhaps I'll actually give this a proper try one day, but I'm not ready yet...

Trying to remember,
what I'm supposed to feel inside,
but,
I've hidden for so long,
that the emotions have all died.

Trying to remember,
what life was like before,
but,
pictures have no associations,
I feel lost forever more.

Trying to remember,
to hold onto the past
but,
there's a knife to my own throat,
holding back, I try to last.

Trying to remember
when I met you that day
but,
I've known love, and it tore me.
I threw everything away...
