Ok I live in Massachusetts and ive been calling around the past for days trying to find a suboxone doctor with not much luck.. All the doctors listed on google are no longer doctors or some out patient BS.. alot of doctors around here have lost there jobs for for prescribing more then there 100 people limit from what i read online also i read that there are over 900 doctors that prescript suboxone but only 350 are listed online...
when i was placed on probation 8 months ago i knew it was time to stop the oxycodone and heroin as always been and knew that suboxone and methadone were not tested on the 5 pannel testing i began taking suboxone that i was buying off the street.. but it always been a pain in the ass trying to even afford the suboxone along with rent.. so when i got my insurance back a week ago i thought id just go to a doctor ..now i know in MA its almost impossible to find a sub doc to take insurance and cost around $300 for the first visit but it will cover for the actually for the pills..
Anyways my main problem is that its been a few weeks since i did a bag of dope and i just went to a doctors office that i could actually get a hold of.. when i went there the secretary told me i would have to take a urine that would go to the lab and take 5 days for the results ..now i told here that its been over a week since ive had any opiates and that i would have suboxone in my system .. she said to me she wasnt sure how this would work and would have to talk to to the doctor and call me back .. she asked me if i wanted to take the urine just in case and i said sure then she told me my that my type of insurance would not cover and it would be 30$ so i told her i would wait till i knew if i could be seen with sub in my system.. another thing that i didnt bother telling her is that i will test positive for benzos because i was giving ativan at the hospital 4 days ago... i just thought i was kind of funny when she said i dont know if he will see you because you are not prescribed to the suboxone that you have in your system... i felt like saying well i wasn't the oxycodone or heroin ... but dose anyone have any thought on what the doctor will say and do you think he wont see me because of this?
