Opioids Trying to determine whether or not if I am going through PAWS

Well I used Heroin a little less than a year pretty much daily, besides when I was trying to get clean, which I failed every time. I went to jail recently for a month so had no choice but to go cold turkey for a month. I have now been clean for 37 days today and I am not sure if I am going through PAWS. I have had a bad cold for about 2 weeks so I have not felt so good, so it has been hard to decipher. I am feeling a bit better from the cold, but I am experiencing depression, but it comes in waves, not much anxiety and I can sleep normally again 8 hours, no restless legs or anything, just feeling depression and lack of motivation. And this damn cold seems like it's never going to end, which is no fun after being dopesick for 3 weeks in jail. The term sick and tired of being sick and tired comes into play. I finally felt better then got a wicked cold, 5 days before I got out the bink and have been sick ever since. Weird because the cold seems to be coming in waves now to, I feel better, then boom I feel sick again. And I know the cold ain't lingering withdrawal symptoms because I'm hacking yellow lungbutter.. But on top of the cold the waves of depression and lack of motivation is the only symptoms, no anxiety or RLS and I can sleep normally and my appetite has been voracious. So my question is based on the above information, does it seem I am going through PAWS?

I don't have an answer but a recommendation. Try not to think about it too much as it will make symptoms worse. You either do or you don't and nothing will change it. All you can do is manage negative symptoms although relying on drugs or medicine vs your own body usually will make things worse. Rely on your body with proper hydration and nutrition first before using medications for help.
 
Dope sick for 3 weeks , seems like a long time for H. The lack of motivation lasts a while, it really is just mind over mayter, force yourself to do shit and get shit done and it gets a bit easier as the days pass.... staying busy is key, sleep as much as possible too, sleep always speeds up the process and makes yoh feel better, start a decent multi vitamin and throw some fish oil in on top of that. Another proven supplement is an amino acid complex, they sell a good one in pill form at GNC, do a 30 Day amino acid regimen....it Def helps with the depression and receptor repair.
