I have a few hits of LSD that I have stored in a freezer for about a year now. Last week I went on a camping trip in the desert to do some rock climbing and thought it might be a good idea to take a hit one day. To keep the story short, I decided not to take any of the LSD because circumstances didnt really agree (not in a great social environment, far away from resources in case there should be an emergency, and not to mention I would have to miss a day of climbing if I were to fry!).
So I kept these hits of LSD unrefrigerated in a desert environment for one week. I did keep them wrapped in aluminum foil (blocking them from light) and for most of the trip, they remained in the car. The temperature did not rise much higher than 80 degrees during the day and got to be about 35-40 degrees during night, near freezing.
I know that LSD should not be stored in those conditions because it will degrade so I am trying to determine if realistically, the lsd is still any good.
for the record, it is considered quality and when originally removing it from the freezer, I was careful to mitigate condensation effects by first transferring it to the fridge and then outside.
Obviously I dont want to discard any of it if I dont have to, but I also dont want to chance taking it if it has gone bunk (can this be dangerous at all)?. I realize there are many factors in determining if the lsd will still be effective but am hoping someone has some personal experience with these storage issues.
