Trying to determine if my LSD has degraded from being unrefrigerated for a few days..

I have a few hits of LSD that I have stored in a freezer for about a year now. Last week I went on a camping trip in the desert to do some rock climbing and thought it might be a good idea to take a hit one day. To keep the story short, I decided not to take any of the LSD because circumstances didnt really agree (not in a great social environment, far away from resources in case there should be an emergency, and not to mention I would have to miss a day of climbing if I were to fry!).
So I kept these hits of LSD unrefrigerated in a desert environment for one week. I did keep them wrapped in aluminum foil (blocking them from light) and for most of the trip, they remained in the car. The temperature did not rise much higher than 80 degrees during the day and got to be about 35-40 degrees during night, near freezing.
I know that LSD should not be stored in those conditions because it will degrade so I am trying to determine if realistically, the lsd is still any good.

for the record, it is considered quality and when originally removing it from the freezer, I was careful to mitigate condensation effects by first transferring it to the fridge and then outside.

Obviously I dont want to discard any of it if I dont have to, but I also dont want to chance taking it if it has gone bunk (can this be dangerous at all)?. I realize there are many factors in determining if the lsd will still be effective but am hoping someone has some personal experience with these storage issues.

Yeah. Here's a scientific study of it. At 25 degrees Celsius in the dark for four weeks there was no loss. Increasing the temperature over that period resulted in substantial losses, but you only had it out for a week. The breakdown products are of no concern, as they would need to just happen to be pharmacologically active at double digit ug ranges per dose to affect anything at all.

^If that.

I've taken LSD that was stored in a box in room temperature for months and months and was unable to detect a decrease in potency from a tab of the same batch that I took right after I acquired it.

I lost some tabs tightly wrapped in foil at the bottom of my car for 3-4months

I MISTAKENLY assumed they had degraded and proceeded to quad drop them....big mistake!!

They didn't really degrade at all and I was stuck on a super hard trip for ages hahahaha

I'm glad to hear this. I have mine in a baggy, wrapped in foil, in another baggy. I had it in my desk drawer for just over a month before I put it in an airtight jar and stuck it in the freezer.

Well my LSD did not melt in portugal at boom festival where day temperatures were 40+ degrees C, it didn't appear to go down at all, being just as potent on day 5 of the festival as it was back home. That too was stored in aluminium foil in a plastic zipper bag.

At home I don't store it in the freezer either, and I found out that in room temperature in aluminium foil it stays as potent as it is when you get it for atleast half a year and even over the course of two full years very little loss in potency was noted.

LSD isn't thát fragile, just don't hold it in sweaty handpalms for hours on end, don't put it in the sun, don't soak it in tap water if your water contains chlorine, if you keep it dark and dry, even if the temperature is off, it should stay good a long time.

They're fine. Unless you leave it in a hot ass car for several weeks your LSd is more than likely still great.

I think youre ok lots of people worry to much about it. I see a fair amount of blotter and I had someone telling me the tin foil rubs off enough product to make a difference, I call bullshit

The problem with leaving acid in a car is that cars can get much hotter than outdoors. Once I left some good liquid acid in a visine bottle in a car on a warm day for a few hours and it was almost completely ruined. 7 hits between 2 people did very little. I hope you have better luck then I did.

you should have dropped tab, and instead of going climbing just gone bouldering. i love climbing, but bouldering and drugs go great together.

Actually it mostly was bouldering and while I considered how much fun the two could be together, for safety purposes its probably something I will never try. Our first trip out there, we witnessed a girl in our group take a bad fall and shatter her ankle. We watched the pain she was in as we carried her out through boulder fields towards the road for the ambulance to receive her.
The climbs were pretty big too so i think its best to mitigate risk by remaining sober for what is already an inherently dangerous form of recreation.
