trying mdma this weekend. starting dose 250mg.

This guy cracks me up with every thread...

There are plenty of forum posts about why SSRI's will inhibit MDMA from doing what it does. There are also videos I believe. You're not special, and it won't work for you just because you stop for a few days or have only taken it for a little while. SSRI's are in your system now, and it will take months for you brain to recover from that if you stop. If you want to try MDMA, wait until you are off of SSRI's, hide it in a safe place, and do it another time.
 
^ I have to agree. If your doctor thinks you need anti-depressants enough to prescribe them to you, I really don't think you should and cannot recommend that you go off of your medication abruptly just to get high.


There is not only the concern for withdrawal like I noted, but quite a few more complications that can have some much further reaching effects than you just not getting high. If you are determined to get high, call up your doctor and find a way to taper off of your medication safely. Tell him you simply don't want it any more, he should be obliged to help you ween off of it should you wish not to use it. SSRIs aren't exactly the best medicines either... they are almost worthless, in fact. They do just about as good of a job at fighting depression as a placebo does. :\

Do not stop taking prescribed anti depressants just to go fucked up on MD, why not try another drug?
 
Ok thanks guys. I have the doctors tomorrow and I am going to tell them I don't want it. I am only only them because my depression causes physical pain but I feel great mentally. And actually those antidepressants work pretty good.

Actually I am going to wait 7 full days with my doctors approval and then do it there should be about .1 mg in my system.

because i have md and idk what other drugs to try that wont be dimmed down because of the meds? and i wouldnt do coke or anything the only other drugs id do is probably shrooms. anyways i am going to take the md at the 7 day mark when there is .156mg in my system
 
you seem determined to take it regardless of what anybody here says. why bother asking a question if you've already decided to ignore the answer?

again, you seem determined to do this so what's the point of continuing the discussion?

you're going to just stop taking your anti-depressants? conventional wisdom suggests that, even after only short term use, you should taper down slowly over 6-8 weeks. you are playing with your brain chemistry and you seem to have an incredibly blasé attitude towards the whole issue...
