Most of you won't be much enlightened by reading beyond the title (the active comppound is anandamide, by the way) but this is notable if only for the rarity of cannabinoids outside of Cannabis species.

I remember reading a while back that paracetemol (APAP) reduces depression - sounds like this could be a likely mechanism for that.
