After some thourough tests on me. The results came back as a testosterone level of 10.2 which is pretty low. I have had my suspicions for quite some time that my test level may be off. I had bad anxiety, no drive, no energy to even get out of bed, poor libido.
I am 29 years old 6,2 and roughly around 16%bf. I have a long history (13 years)taking part in physical activities such as sports and weightlifting at the gym, struggled really hard with all of it. These last 3 years have been hell, I had a hard time losing bodyfat and gaining muscle while dieting and working out regularily, I remebered years back when I did my first test prop cycle I was feeling like a normal person and alright after pct and same witth another test prop cycle after, my doses weren't too high either, roughly 75mg every third day to maintain stable levels and even my bloodwork looked awesome during cycle and after pct.
Anyways. I go see a dr in the city and tell him everything about how I was feeling, first he said anxiety and of course after hearing that most of my life growing up, I became so very sick of hearing that, I convinced him to run thorough bloodwork on me. Next morning I went to a lab and they drew like 6 viles of blood from me and had me give a urine sample there and take a jug for a 24 hour sample.
The next week I meet up with the dr and after going through the blood work and seeing everything look good thyroid, lh, e2, prolactin and cortisol were all within normal range, and test was 10.3
Needles to say he agreed that there was something wrong and we discussed trt treatment. I of course just went with injection's, but I decided to get that prescription and let my dr back in my hometown help me handle it. Big mistake! First she said low test can't cause anxiety or my other issues pffft!. Then wanted to give me 100mg test cyp every 4 weeks, I tried explaining to her how not only is that a low dose for that duration but after it starts declining after first injection I will be on a wild ride and completely shut down before getting second injection. She of course didn't appreciate my two cents.
so I went to see the other dr. Right away he said the duration was too far apart but unfortunately he only changed it to every second week injections at 100mg . Very surprising considering he seemed more knowledgable and I made sure he was aware of both of my cycles in the past when I did them and reminded him again about them when I seen him this time. 100mg should actually be the starting mark, anyway we did the first injection and 4 days later I felt a tremendous improvement and it has been like everything that was bothering me went bye bye. After about the middle of the following week I felt worse than when I started, dr thinks there is no issue with that and 100mg should last until the next injection
Should I bug my dr more? or find a new dr?
