trolling for posts

Hiya Chakakali,

How's things with you? Good I hope! Welcome to Bluelight. It's always nice to have newcomers on board.
Can I ask would you like to tell us any interests in relation to the site? Just so we can give you directions / links to areas / sub-forums on the site, which may be of interest to you.

In the meantime I'll give you a few links. Here they are:

- BLUA (Bluelight User Agreement)
- Greenlighter's Guide
- New Members Introductions (NMI) Social Thread
- Adoption Programme
- Support

OK - let me explain the above links. The BLUA is the rules in which we agree to when we become members of BL. As well as these rules, each sub-forum has rules and they may differ from one another so I would advise you to read them before posting - I say this, as a fellow member, because last week I was caught out with them myself, so it's very easy to do n thus reading them will protect not only the site but you. For instance, the recovery sub-forums don't allow trigger talk and most of the threads and megathreads don't allow drug discussion for obvious reasons.

The Greenlighter's Guide is an ace document. Not just for Greenlighters, believe it or not, but a few weeks ago, I read it and found some parts of it extremely useful to me. So reading this document would avoid you having to ask lots of questions.

The NMI social thread is for both Greenlighters and Bluelights (Goodness only knows why I write this, as EVERY thread is for both Greenlighters and Bluelighters) all from different members of the site. So it's may be a way for you to find out more about the site, and different subjects around the site, without having to take so much time in travelling here, there and everywhere.

The Adoption Programme is like a kind of befriending / mentoring programme where current members adopt new members to try to settle you settle into the site. Things such as how to create / edit programme, directions/links, or simply being a friend via PM.

Please feel free to ask any questions about the site. Great that you're here.

All the best,
Evey
