tripping on your own

i always said to people who takes drugs and be on there own that its a waste of time and its boring, i always gotta be around people when i'm high i just think its always more fun.

however i'm starting to think i shouldn't knock it until i tried it. i got a whole week to myself next week and was thinking i might give it a try with some AMT and MDMA i got left over from the party last week. ya know just flick on some tunes chill out look at crazy shit on the internet just hope i don't get too bored but i always got the option of going out if i do.

anybody else enjoy tripping on there own? what do you enjoy about it?

I've done quite a few on my own, but I'd definitely leave out the MDMA.

It's just fun to get lost in your own thoughts without worrying about other people, or how they're doing. You can do the things you enjoy without having to ask or make sure they want to.
 
I agree with Feste... MDMA seems perfectly suited for being with other people.
Now, "real" psychedelics on the other hand are perfect for solo experiences. Personally I feel that solo trips are much deeper and more intense. Some of my best experiences with LSD have definitely been on solo trips.
 
i actually prefer solo trips to ones in groups... but thats partly because of my choice of substances (mushies!). I love getting lost in my thoughts, i love letting go of some wordly concerns, I love looking at the world from the outside in.

dont know about the mdma... some say it is very good for soloing as well, especially mixed with other substances. it all depends on what you plan on doing while on it. remember, it was first used in psychotherapy, so it is valueable for introspection as well. might just no be as much fun.

i cant remember a time when i got bored solo. i can however recall several times of feeling anxious in public.
 
I prefer to trip alone. One of the first question someone should ask themselves about set and setting is "Alone or with people". While I think most inexperienced trippers should have at least one close friend nearby, after awhile for moderate doses, I think its perfectly okay and even natural for someone to want to trip alone. Its a very different experience.

You have no social network of people you love and who love you around you if your DOC is particularly potent/effective that evening and you walk into the streets at 4am naked screaming at the top of your lungs that YOU ARE THE BEEEEEACOOOOOOON, of course.

I always find that whilst on a good dose of AMT MDMA defo increases the visuals thats why I want to mix. Its not a lot of MDMA I got left anyway maybe about 80 to 100mgs? Its just left overs from the weekend but I got shit loads of AMT so should be good buzz. To that guy who said about people who trip alone are loosers I used to think the same I just wanna see what the fuss is about if I don't like it I always got the option to get on my bike and go out. Actually that would be quite fun to ride a bike fucked I certainly wouldn't drive tho.
 
tripping alone is a must. Like everyone else has mentioned, you get to enjoy things without worrying about others.
 
I like to create wheen I trip. I've actually had my biggest freak outs around riends... bad, bad paranoia. I AM an introvert, though.

^^^^^This Solo tripped more than not. I feel like as far as learning about yourself and growing at least some experiences need to be alone.
 
i can see where some people are coming from when they say you can do what you want more when on your own but for me thats not really a problem i don't feel uncomfortable doing anything with people around i never get anxious about anything really anymore. i'm just looking for a new experience.

last weekend there were times where i got too head fried from being around people too long, not anxious or paraniod just where i was constantly talking and doing things you drive yaself a bit mental so there were times where i would just sit in the bathroom alone and trip out in my own little world it helped get my head back together then i was happy to go back out and babble nonsense again for hours. :)
 
fuck mdma

but use something fun and visual on your own like one of the tryptamines
 
i'm still necking the mdma no matter what anyone says as its not enough mdma to do enough on its on so i'll take it about 4 hours into the amt trip like i did the other week and had a amazing buzz.
 
I almost always trip alone. My first 2 trips were with people, but i enjoyed most the parts of it when i was alone.... I do think I could have handled it alone, but not everyone can.

It can be good to trip with others, but you need to be comfortable around them. I've tripped far more alone than with others, though I enjoyed both.
 
i take more drugs alone than with ppl. sometimes other ppl are in the house but they dont know im on anything. not all my friends take drugs and the ones that do dont do it that much these days so i just please my self really. depends how you look at it. some might say i have a problem lol or others might not. depends what mood im in as to how hard i am on my about it. ive had all my strongest experiences alone tho so...
 
I find psychedelics are definitely more suited to going it alone (for me anyway) rather than stimulants and MDxx type drugs. I love to trip alone, mushrooms, acid, whatever. You don't get the anxiety that being with other people can bring when tripping, and can purely enjoy the experience. Throw in some nitrous and you can have an amazing time %)
 
i generally prefer tryptamines by myself, ergolines (LSD/LSA) w/ 1 - 2 trusted friends, and most pea's (except 2c-e/p/t2/t7) in public/@ a party.
 
Depends what type of drug.
For spiritual/therapeutic/meditation situations psychedelics can be quite nice. I prefer solo (or with sitter) over with a group. It isn't about the euphoria to me but the inward thinking of my own life.

If you plan to do anything solo I highly recommend you plan out a chill spot that is relaxing, some snacks, and something to do ahead of time. Recently it has been pandora or the simpsons for me, but maybe I'm just weird.

You might get really bored and frustrated if you go in expecting something that might only be around in a group environment.
 
I love to trip by myself.... But MDMA only if my wife is with me. Its just not fun for me otherwise without her to talk to.
