Tripping on Effexor?

can you trip on mushrooms whilst taking this? I'm not planning on tripping for a long time because I am tapering off benzos right now but I think I may be on the effoxor for a while (if it works)...

would it decrease the effects/block psychedelics just like SSRIs do?

It's an SNRI-type antidepressant, so yes it would stop psychs from working.
