Tripping off Tramadol?

Apparently Tramadol is an NMDA antagonist. Does this mean I can trip off of it like it was DXM or Ketamine?

It may be a slight NMDA antagonist but I would assume that the dose required to "trip" from it would probably take you above the seizure threshold dose. Please correct me if I am wrong if anyone has more knowledge than me on this subject.

^^ correct....you would most likely have a seizure before you "trip bawls"
tramadol's affinity to bind to NMDA receptors is so weak that it is almost like it isn't a NMDA antagonist at all. to put things into perspective, tramadol has less binding affinity than DXM and DXM doesn't produce much NMDA activity at all

however i once had an interesting experience that i might call 'tripping' although it was a visual thing, not psychedelic. i believe it was 250mg tramadol, 1200mg gabapentin, then a bowl or two of weed. ive heard gaba and opiates interact in a weird way, perhaps this is what happened?

I had a ka-raaaaazy trip on Tramadol, it was almost like a tonic-clonic seizure...oh..wait...it WAS a tonic-clonic seizure


But in all seriousness be careful with Tramadol it's nothing to take lightly even though it may not have strong and obvious 'fuck you up' in a high sort of way but it will easily 'fuck you up' in a not so good kill you kinda way.

tramadol has almost like an MDMA like euphoria to it for me, and yes ive had real MDMA lol. i dont mean better, but similar slightly speedy euphoria.

and took a nap and had the weirdest dreams


my unce and aunt where speaking to me in alien languages but the dream was sorta lucid.. because it was like an outofbody experience
