Tripping in the middle of a forest

I just had an idea that would seem like it would be pretty fun, but I wanted to hear your thoughts on this.

I was considering asking my friends if they wanted to go camping in a forest (which we've been to numerous times) and trip while we're there. This forest is literally in the middle of nowheres, but it is honestly the most beautiful place I've ever been to. Theres loads of beautiful animals in there, and in the middle of it there's a pond-ish thing with grass all around it, and trees all around the grass. That would probably be our home-zone.

However, one of the many guidelines I've usually followed is to not trip in the middle of no-wheres. So much can go wrong, but it's such a beautiful place! I've never tripped while I'm there, so I'm not sure if I would know my way around too well, but while I'm sober I know the place like the back of my hand.

Is there any safety precautions I should take before attempting this? And what are your thoughts on tripping in a forest?

If it means anything, I will be tripping on about 5 grams of amazing mushrooms, with about 4 other people. We will have a tent, a car, a phone, car chargers for our phones, a heater, a generator to power our stuff, etc.

Idk why you wouldn't trip in a place you didn't know very well. I feel it makes your trip that much more fun cause you don't really know what's next. Also, let's face it. The only thing that could go wrong as long as you aren't jumping off cliffs is getting attacked by some animal. Just check the weather before you go, it would blow if it just poured the entire time and you had to sit in the tent

ABSOLUTELY!

I feel there is no better place to eat shrooms than in the nature. Ive personally taken shrooms and gone on a nature walk, it was fascinating. I studied leaves, plants, insects that crawled by, and boy when an animal like a squirrel (we even saw a deer) shows up, talk about exciting!!!

The harm reduction method of knowing where you are tripping is a good one, so what I would recomend is setting up a camp/tent or a safe zone where you guys know you can resort to if anything went wrong (but when it comes to tripping in a forest, I feel like theres a very small chance anything would go wrong since theres nothing there to make things wrong).

Have your cellphones on hand in case anyone gets lost, but at the same time only use them if that is the situation. Tuning yourself away from all the stresses of society is truly a great experience on shrooms.

Also make sure the weather will be flawless, nothing like rain and clouds to kill your buzz lol

In a forest you will finally feel free. No work, no parents, no cops, no buildings, no people. Just you, your friends, and the earth you live on. ENJOY!

I'll agree with the nature statement. I hate being inside any building for more than 5 minutes

AHHHHH you guys are making me want to do this so much now! Thanks for the answers! I'm freakin PUMPPEDDD

Do you get a cell signal at that location to begin with? If not, how far is the hike to somewhere you can get a signal?
Are you comfortable navigating the area under the influence of a psychedelic? If not, do you know the declination? Are you familiar with the area's topography?
Is this a location that will draw a lot of people you might have to deal with?
Does anyone in your group have medical problems (asthma, diabetes, allergy to bee stings, etc) that could be an issue?

Tripping in the wilderness is one of the best experiences you can have, but your bases need to be covered.

Being surrounded by trees is awesomee on a shroom trip! Just make sure you have something COMFORTABLE (like a lounge chair) to rest on if you need to. Being uncomfortable when you just want to sit back and relax for a while can be annoying.

Seriously, once you trip in the woods you'll find this thread completely silly :) I've never felt more at peace then while tripping whilst camping. You're gonna love it, dude :D Report back to us and let us know how it went!

Once I saw light pulses coming from one open place in the woods while the rest was somewhat dark. Every tree looked exactly identical, like they were all copy-pasted and cardboard cutouts. Then arriving in the open place I looked up at the sky and saw a huge wormhole being created. It was where the pulsing and incredible fractals were originating. My ipod had symbols from an alien language on it. That was when I candyflipped for the first time I think.

I also tripped in nature other times, on of which was hellish because there was a mosquito plague and I has on the brink of a sort of formication/ delusional parasitosis. I might have seen 100x as many as there actually were but even so there were squadrons, millions and there was no escape.

^ Oh god, that sounds awful! 8o

Just check the weather before you go, it would blow if it just poured the entire time and you had to sit in the tent

Even that could be a pretty cool experience if you were tripping hard enough. LOL.

Tripping and nature is amazing, the best trips can be had IME. If you want to take it to another level add in some nitrous and good music and you'll have an even better time ;)

A few years ago I was one of 4 trippers squeezed into a 1 man tent due to rain. It was funny but also had quite an uncomfortable 'acid cabin-fever' element

Tripping in the forest is great. Shrooms is a great choice for nature as well, although when I took 5 grams of shrooms camping, I didn't venture very far from my tent :p Ive taken 2ce out in the forest which was pretty amazing as well and done nature walks on various psychs. Just make sure you have water, layers of clothes, flashlights if at night etc.

as with most things, the following statement holds true in regards to tripping...

"the more you risk, the more you reap"

And it tends to be true both in negative and positive ways ... in other words, the more your risk in doing something, the greater the benefits /losses if it goes right / wrong

Tripping in the forest or while camping is almost universally spoken highly of. Do be sure to bring some just-in-case items (short acting benzos, first aid kits, etcetera), and make sure you know the lay of the land well to avoid hazards.

Camping is not difficult.

Camping combined with a psychedelic, is still not that much more difficult. If you're going with that large of a group go hiking/exploring and maybe bring some instruments or hand drums and make your own noises around a camp fire at some point :)

If you're experienced with psychedelics I don't see why this thread was made, it should be a no brainer! :)

Have fun man :)
