tripping at inception

I don't have a problem with moving screens on psychedelics. A great portion of my time on acid / psilacetin has been spent watching funny/goofy movies and cartoons. I would have a major problem watching a serious and epic movie for 2 hours though.

On a somewhat tangential note, the best trip of my entire life occurred the night I saw Avatar (a result of DMT) -- I believe that the sci-fi ideas presented in the movie in some way allowed me to open up to a broader spectrum of spiritual explanations for the trip.

Yep that's pretty much exactly what I had in mind when I suggested it! :)

I have made many attempts to watch trippy shows/movies/cartoons while tripping and it just doesn't work. I can't concentrate and I start to find hidden meanings in what I'm watching, and this is confusing especially if I've seen the show before when I wasn't tripping, so I know that how I'm interpreting it when I'm tripping isn't correct. Know what I mean? Too distracting! :D

I went to see Avatar on 1.8g's of shrooms and it was fuckin' amazing.

But avatar is pretty shroomy as it is, so it's compatible you could say. I can't predict anything for inception. Take a low dose though

Personally, moving images on screens are NOT fun on psychedelics.

Watching Bob Ross on that old painting program while tripping balls was both amazing (watching the painting unfold before my eyes) and hilarious (didn't realise the volume was turned down, sounded like he was mumbling incoherently). Found it by accident on some weird chanel late at night.

A loud cinema with a massive screen however... haven't experienced it and don't fancy the idea of it.

A 2nd plateau dose of DXM is great for watching movies on. Very immersive experience. (You should probably only watch movies that you would actually want to be immersed in, though. ;) )

so do you think shrooms would be better with 3d movies? or regular 2d? :) just a question, as the 3d technology seems to be the way of the future....

personally i wouldnt be able to sit through a whole 2h+ movie while on shrooms, my mind would probably wonder off every 10 minutes... Also, id probably be smiling the whole time
