Tripping at a park

Hey guys. I tripped many times indoors, but never really explored the outside world while tripping because I never had the chance too. I only tripped at night because that was the only available time, and in my area, if you are walking around in the middle of the night, cops are definitely going get you and give you a hard time. Not really a good place to trip in my area even if it were in the afternoon (busy city, big roads, many cars, etc.) Now that I'm moving to a nicer area (suburbs) I feel like it's a good chance to explore my area while tripping. Not sure on what yet (acid, mushrooms or 2ce), but there's a nice park across the street of my new place and there's just a lot of grass. Really open area with a golf course next to it. Have you guys tripped at a park before and if so how was it? I'm kind of concerned because it feels like it might be too open. The street that I have to cross to get here is a pretty big street and you can see the people in the park while you're driving. Would I look suspicious walking around the park with my friend? (we're 20 year old guys) Would a hiking trail be a better idea? Thanks for your input guys.

When I used to trip with my ex, we'd trip at night, and go outside early in the morning when the only people out would be early-bird dog-walkers. There was a nice big field near her house, usually frequented by kids playing football and such later in the day. It was perfect, enjoying the sunrise and the freshness of the morning, and being able to appreciate nature in daylight without the fear of being disturbed by anyone important. It's a consideration, at least.

Of course, depending on how comfortable you are with tripping in public it might be nice during the rest of the day, If I were you I'd take a walk down there and guage how busy it gets. You're entitled to explore and enjoy your own neighbourhood after all! Just so long as you're confident about not appearing too fucked up in public.

hiking is a great idea, just make sure you're not too high you end up getting lost or something and stay hydrated. Tripping at a park wouldn't be too suspicious unless you and your friend are prone to acting really strange. Some people handle tripping in public better than others; it's not always fun to be around lots of strangers. I used to trip all the time in public and at big events but I just can't handle the crowds any more or the random weird shit that happens in public when i'm tripping. It's really fun to trip in nature, even better in a peaceful setting where no outsiders can bother you.

I like tripping outside. Plenty of incentives, the world presents itself beautifully on psychedelics. Sometimes, just missing the comfort lie in bed.
On the outside is definitely better, there is nothing to fear. Recently, I took 700 ug of LSD and went to the park. It was fantastic

In the UK I wouldn't give a shit as long as I wasn't holding. Parks and wood are excellent places to trip, something about beinbg in nature on a nice day just lends itself to tripping.

i think I was spoilt as I lived in a very rural area when I was growing up and love days out in the fields of me tooth, but then again I have had some mad trips in cities also. You just need to make sure one of your group isn't as spangled as the rest to act as a moderator on odd things you may do.

Generally staying away from members of the public who may report you is a good thing, so find a quiet spot sit down get a blanket out and have a good time.

Out of those for a first public trip, I'd suggest 2c-e as out of those, it is the most clearheaded in my experiences. I love tripping in public actually but also in nature. I usually am able to act very normally while tripping but if its your first time, you might consider keeping to yourself/staying with your friends. Not to be unsociable, however, tripping isn't widely accepted even more so since there are a lot of myths surrounding psychedelics and people might freak out if they know. I've had a lot of great times tripping in nature as well. The blanket idea is a personal favorite. I always like laying a blanket on the ground and laying down and closing my eyes and just let my mind wander.

I love taking 2C-E and going to the movie theater. Absolutely incredible, you just get sucked right in to the show. Arcades are awesome on it as well, but can cause some pretty hardcore sensory overload depending on how 2C-E effects you.

I've done tripping in the park / downtown area of my city on 4-AcO-DMT and a small dose of MXE once, with the same friend that I trip with when I go to the theater. The park was amazing, I loved the feeling of laying down in the grass and letting the sun wash over you as the trip takes hold. It got kind of weird once we started exploring the downtown area (which was right across from the park), there were just too many people around for my comfort. It was on a weekday while school was in session, so not a busy time of day, and a good number of the people who were out and about were on drugs, which made us feel a bit more comfortable. There were some weird vibes going around though, like when we bumped into one guy who was on meth or something while playing with his kids and being a little aggressive. We didn't bother each other or anything but when my friend and I glanced his way he was kind of growling and yelling "WHAT!? WHAT!? I CAN DO WHAT THE FUCK I WANT!"

Overall, it was a pretty great day, but I'd much rather trip in a more secluded section of nature.

I actually might trip alone. How does tripping alone outside in public or nature sound?

If you can handle yourself in public alone on psychedelics, I'd say go for it. I'd have no problem but I've taken a lot of psychedelics. Not dick sizing, just explaining my reasoning.

hello!
tripping during the daylight can be a different experience than at night, so id recommend going for something a bit shorter (i get tired more easily during the day). that being said, being in a very open park for the first time and tripping might not be the best idea. if i were you id first get comfortable (and known by the locals) before attempting to be psyched out around :) that way you dont seem out of place there. take care when you do it, sometimes people get suspicios when young kids are around and a shady looking dude just walks about.
i think if i were in your place, id choose a light hiking trail during a weekday. go with a firend, have a beer on you to explain the possible slight intoxication and all will be well.

enjoy!

^ I'd never thought of the beer idea, while I'm not 21, I'll definitely use that one if I decide to try high doses in a park. Lol officer its just a beer, I'm just giggly from it! you're 18, kid, doesn't matter.

Arcades are awesome on it as well

^This brought back a memory. Years ago I was at the arcade in the mall peaking off 4 gel tabs, and I was unbeatable at Soul Caliber 2. I took down person after person, it was intense. In my mind, I was fighting for my life.

Tripping in nature is always awesome, you always notice the beauty in the smallest things that were so insignificant to you before. In all honesty though, the best visuals come out at night against a black background. Going from day-night, or vice versa is the best of both worlds.

i always go for a walk to my local park when i'm tripping. it's the closest thing to "nature" in my general vicinity, living in the centre of a sprawling city.
it's like a ritual for clearing the headspace out from being in the same small apartment that i dosed in and it can be a great way to get a perspective on the trip to go for a walk and talk to the ducks in the lake.

i find however, that it helps that this park is very familiar to me.
i feel safe there, and know it very well.
if i weren't so aware of the ins-and-outs of this particular park (ie i stay in the well-lit, safer parts) i might have less of a good time tripping there...so you might want to suss yours out a bit before going there out of it.

i have had some strange park tripping experiences.
from getting there and going "well...now what? what did we come here for again?" and being confused, not knowing what to do and just wandering home, to the times that i've decided "i'm way too fucked to be in a public place" and getting out of there for fear of either doing something weird or running into someone i know.
then there are the other people in the park - never had any trouble or been hassled or even interacted with strangers, but it's just another variable, potential trip hazard.

tripping in the park is great - i'm sure you'll have some amazing times.

Just be sure you are not so zonked that you are unable to notice like cliffs and other dangerous stuff.

Or go to a place without any dangers.

And to the person who wondered if wandering around a park might seem suspicious... um.... that's what parks are FOR so... NO ;)
