Trip Warehouse

So I've been hearing alot about trip warehouses where people gather around in a vacant warehouse and just trip out on psychedelics. Kinda like a "shoot up shack". Is this just a myth or is it reality, because that sounds insanely fun.

I have been to warehouse parties where someone rented one. Abandoned ones though, not for tripping. Urban exploration of them is fun, but not while tripping. There are alot of dangers in these places, it's trespassing, at night there is no power for lights, many are full of asbestos etc. You need to be fully alert if you want to explore abandoned places.
I would rather an informal tripping get together like that in the woods.

I had an excellent experience in a rented warehouse once. It was a space about 100' by 200' and two stories tall, totally empty except for a big faux tree constructed of bamboo with LED-illuminated leaves that would change color according to some pre-set pattern. Well maintained, flat, clean floors. No skylights, sadly. There were a couple folding chairs and several of us just hung out, chatting, enjoying cigarettes and each others' company for several hours.

Actually now that I think about it I can't even remember if I was tripping or not. Either way, it was a cool way to host a gathering of friends.

These sound well good, dont rate it to be likened to a shooting up gallery tho .. But as for psy gatherings ive not been to anything like that, and would be well up for going to somthing like this over here in England .

In 1972 my high school (San Mateo High) allowed us to use a room under the performing arts Stage for and as a drug counseling room. The councilor was a hippie too, like the rest of us, the counselor let us set up the room with black lights and posters & nets etc...the hole 9 yards... He would give us the keys and he really never was there because he understood our way of life... We used it as a trip room.. this went on for 3 years... Good times

frankly i would be a bit anxious around total strangers tripping in an empty warehouse... it seems to me like there are more possibilities for things to go wrong than right.

nature gatherings on the other hand seem somewhat more benign. dont know why...

This doesn't sound very good for me personally. I definitely prefer the comfort of a familiar home when experiencing altered states of consciousness, not some vast, unpredictable, alien environment. Warehouses hold some creepiness to them, and I'd imagine these events would take place at night, offering a bit more uneasiness with eery darkness.

I don't know if anyone is familiar with the parody twitter account "not a cop" but the first time I read this it struck me as something that would post. I'm sure something along the lines has been done before, I've never experienced it and I doubt there's one "trip warehouse" in the world

There are much better outdoor parties, little gatherings of awesome people experimenting with psychedelics and spirituality, pretty much the very inverse of what society is... telepathic experiences, even without the drugs.... Its the people and the music... some have bands but there is also psytrance festivals that play some very crazy fucking music.

But yeah first of all its like a family, we all really love one another...

We have great music and we dance and go into a trance and their are psychedelic samples and voices and its pretty incredible.. it will gradually get faster, more intense, and more psychedelic as the night goes on sometimes progressing into dark psytrance or even neurotrance.. some artists will use specific frequencies that are associated with specific emotions and some very interesting samples... there are beautiful altars for different intentions depending on where you go, and well, the main intention is usually to come together as one and purge/evolve... some call them 'transformational festivals'.

During the day many times these are on beauitiful land where we will go hike and go swim at waterfalls, rope swings, and whatnot...

Sometimes there will be workshops on Yoga, different forms of spirituality, different rituals, healthy eating, intentional communities, etc..
