Trip Reporter for Android: Bluelight Exclusive

^come on children, let's not derail the thread.

No need to worry my friend. I've been a Bluelight member for a while now and haven't been accused of conspiracy or snitching yet. :-)

I can tell by your statement that if you own an Android phone, you're probably a novice user who may have purchased one for its cool features or access to Angry Birds, no offense.

Any Android superuser would tell you that a program such as mine can easily be "figured" out. The only outbound communication it will make is to upload your trip report to my company website for you to be able to download it.

To ease the minds of the conspiracy theorists the program will also give you the ability to download saved trip reports from your phone to your computer, if you can figure it out, lol.

And like I said, if you're smart enough to figure it out, and I'm sure people will check, you can pretty easily determine whether or not the application is making outbound communications from your phone without your consent.

I'm anxiously awaiting this.
Any chance it will be ready by Coachella? :D

sorry, my concern is not that you would sneak some dirty code in, but rather that the carrier would detect the app and "add you to the list".

Any word on current development status of The Trip Reporter?

As a frequent solo researcher, this app would be quite beneficial. I especially like the voice recorder component as I can have trouble even seeing the little keyboard. :\

so, when is there going to be an apk or market link?

this sounds excellent, sometimes all the evidence i have from trips is a single blurry picture of a tree, hehe.

Omfgwtfroflmaobbq please yes

I probably will, although it's only going to be privately sold to Bluelight Members.

Seriously? An Android personal Trip Reporter? How #$%^&ing AWESOME!!

I am sooo0000OOOO0000oooo freaking excited about this!

Please oh please make this happen.

Yes, as others here do, I have privacy concerns, but I hope that tech savvy folks here, including the awe-inspiring OP can assuage our fears.

Wow... I am so impressed. This would be amazing.
