So quick question, when you snort heroin and experience the nasty drip taste a few minutes later, does that mean you snorted it poorly? Or I did it right? That taste us horrible!

Well you do wanna avoid a drip because any dope dripping down your throat will barely be made available to your body as oral BA is low. Sniff smaller lines and just do 1 small line per nostril wait a minute then repeat but give a short break for the dope to abosrba nd stuff.

What I do when smoking powders, like opana, make a very very long line, VERY VERY skinny. You want to avoid it going up in clumps, and inhale very softly, just enough to get it in your nasal membranes.

Toxic leukoencephalopathy is the scientific term for "holes in the white matter of your brain which sometimes occur after smoking heroin, for reasons which remain unclear. This link has some good info on the subject. From that article:

Is there any evidence to back up the statement about fent becoming increasingly popular to be used as a cut in H? I just find it hard to beleive.. Aside from a little bit here hear-say I have not heard a single reliable account of someone getting h cut with fent. When H hits the mill thousands of bags like 100,000 plus stamp bags are made at a time.. if fent hit the streets even for a single batch the reports of overdose would be throgh teh roof.

If doesn;t make sense financially to cut H with fent. The high is shittier, more dangerous, and generally speaking cuts are just an inert substance safe for IV and pleasant to sniff...atleast around NYC/tri-state area. The only time I hear about heroin cut with fent is when "my friends brother OD'd" or "china white means fent cut dope" I can't even recall a single personal account muchless an accurate one.

If I heard it from an experienced user, not someone with a very low tolerance that just happens to be getting blown away by some fire and assuming it's fent. I mean when it comes down to it, unless there is tangible evidence like a lab test we will never know for sure, but the difference between heroin and fent is pretty serious which is why the rare occasions you do read about in old news articles there are always over doses.

Honestly I know I am spoiled being in NYC but maybe I am sheltered more than i thought.. Are you guys in different parts of the country seriously dealing with "pesticides" "dewormers" "fent" and "anthrax" in your dope? I was actually just talking with a friend the other day and I was saying that it's kind of surprising how reliable the quality of dope is.. I mean sure garbage goes around and you can get stuck with it if your not careful or keen to whats around, but I have never come across or heard of any dope around here causing someone physical harm when they IV'd or sniffed it, other than an actual overdose related to simply taking too much. When you hear "street drugs" you imagine dirty shit or shady stuff like empty bags glass shards all that shit people say to scare you lol. But other than the dope being nearly inactive, it's surprising just how safe it actually is around here.

Honestly the worst thing that happens around here is the situatoin in paterson where the brands have are unreliable, and knock off-s/fakes are rampant. It's regular practice in Paterson for even fire stamps to just fall off one day with no warning leaving you with shit dope expecting to get what youvbe normally been getting. Also when there is a good stamp out, a knockoff will come out, usually the same word but different color or stamp, which is just put out to sell to epople who just assume its the fire version. Sometiems there are 3 different batches of a stamp going around. Between the stamp situation and the cat and mouse game you plat with the cops, I rarely ever go to Paterson anymore.

NYC is SO much more reliable. The past 3 yyears I have only gotten 2 or 3 different brands the whole time. Thery never change, quality hovers at above average to fire, it;s either out or it is not out for a few days but you never have to fear the contents are going to be garbage one day with no warning. Bag are 2x the price in NYC but 2x+ the size. It's actually laughable when I go to paterson and open up an average sized bag. It's crazy how much work must go into breaking the pure dope down into fucking 10,000 bundles every time they put out a new stamp lol

Fentanyl is increasingly common. I have noticed it personally, had it tested professionally by a buddy who works in a lab with gas chromatograpy etc., and they confirmed it. I've read alot about it being more widespread on the east coast and midwest.

Sound's normal, as long as what your describing as 'horrible drip taste' is what I know to be heroin drip taste.

I decided to give the 3 bags I had left another try, so I did a few bigger lines over the last few days, and definitely felt it more than before....looks like I Just needed to do more. With that said, I definitely prefer Oxycontin orally 100%. The euphoria of the heroin was not as great, and was much more sedating than energizing as Oxycontin in.

I just finished the last bag, and since I don't have access to it ever again, that was my last time most likely. Was fun while it lasted! If only Oxy was cheaper....

Funny how some prefer oxy and some dope. I prefer dope. I also prefer percs to oxy (if in a low tolerance mode) as I'm outgoing and talkative and functional. maybe it's the 'built in' stopper, so to speak, with all the apap in each pill so keeps me from talking too many at once. Oxy on the other hand I can crush and snort and I hate snorting that waxy filler shit. (yeah, I can get the older versions if I want, this is not an ad so don't pm asking, just saying I prefer dope to oxy.

But yeah, I've never been big into snorting - only done coke a few times, so I was scared to death to snort the heroin. With that said, with my high tolerance I would have needed a lot to get the same effect, but the high just wasnt the same as Oxy.

Agreed, but since you posted basically saying you were scared of OD'ing I pesonally wasn't going to tell you to go ahead since you have oxy tolerance...only to learn later you died b/c you did too much or the dope was extra strong or something. A motto I live by: Better safe than sorry. HOpe you understand at least MY hesitance to give you thumbs up in railing lines of dope when you were very hesitant about doing so.
