So I tried LSD for the first time last night and while some parts were quite cool overall I feel the negatives I experienced were frustrating and make me question wether I'd like to try it again. I didn't have a bad trip at all, I mainly just felt that my ability to speak was greatly impaired which really frustrated me throughout the night. To clarify:
I am a 25 year old male who weighs about 225 lbs. I took two drops of liquid. I went to a crazy outdoor rave, the party was amazing as it was in the woods with great music, all my friends and a crazy bonfire/drum circle ect ect. I figured it would be the perfect place to try it.
The effects took around 45-60 mins to kick in and I felt the effects for a little over 12 hours, I did feel slight nausea at a few points. The first part of the trip was pretty fun, nice visuals music sounded great. I also had this strange urge to take my clothes off (which I did not do) but I did take my shoes off and dance around, is this normal to experience this? lol
Anyways the part that I didn't like and found REALLY frustrating; was that my ability to speak coherently was dramatically impaired. I would say that about 30% of the things coming out of my mouth were complete non-sense, and not in the "existential/trippy" sense more so just not being able to explain things and largely being unable to carry a conversation with the people I conversed with. I found this EXTREMELY frustrating as I am a very social person and there were many people who I hadnt seen in a while and wanted to talk to them but was simply unable to. I often felt that I was "being weird" even though everyone else was high on something as well (mostly X I think) I know for a fact that my weirdness/babbling wasn't just in my head as I had one of two friends make comments about it nicely.
I have been using X for about 7-8 years now, I've done Ketamine a bunch of times, I've tried Mushrooms once although a low dose and tried 2C-I a few months back,so I'm not totally totally new to psychedelics, one thing I also noted is that the trip felt VERY similar to what I remember my 2C-I trip was like, is this normal?
Anyways I was very excited to try LSD but was just disappointed that it wasn't as amazing an experience as I had hoped. Anyone care to input on my experience, did I do something wrong? Was 2 drops too high of a dose for the first time?
