trichocereus macrogonus?

I’m familiar and very happy with trichocereus bridgesii, trichocereus pachanoi, and trichocereus peruvianus I’ve recently fond some of this(trichocereus macrogonus) I am going to buy (for back yard decoration, of course). From what I have been able to find on the internet about it, it sounds like it should be pretty good.
Has any one had experience with the trichocereus macrogonus? Some where on erowid it said this one had four different phenethalamines in it, instead of just the one. This sounds good to me.
The cactus itself looks pretty cool. It looks exactly like a san pedro (trichocereus pachanoi) except the spikes are very long. He said it is often called a spinny san pedro.
 
Well, no one answered this one, oh well. I got a small piece today to try out before I get more. I’m not sure when I’ll get around to trying it, but I’ll get back here with the results.
 
Many think macrogonus is just a peruvianus variant. I don't find that theory unreasonable.
 
I would have to disagree. This cactus is defiantly a different strain than any peruvianus I’ve seen. The spikes on the macrogonus are much thinner than a peruvianus. They are more like the thickness of pedro spikes, just much longer. Also, I remember reading, I think on erowid, a section that had analyzed what alkaloids were in the different species and the macrogonus’ contents were very different than the peruvianus.
Over the years I’ve found the peruvianus can look very different by the growing conditions you give it. I’ve seen a lot of variance with this strain, even different lengths spikes, but they are usually pretty thick spikes.
I’ve also found the experience to sometimes be very different from cactus to cactus. With so many different active alkaloids, I’m sure the different mixes of them is responsible of the different effects. According to erowid, the macrogonus has 4 different phenethalamines in it. I bet that could have quite an effect on the experience. I’m anxious to find out. Maybe I’ll get to it one day this week.
 
We’ll I finally tried this on the fourth. My gf and I ate about 4.5 feet. What a killer fourth of july.
I would say this experience seemed to have some more elements than normal pedro but it would be hard to say because I haven’t eaten any in a while. Like 2 months, not that long I guess.
Also, my sister recently went to new mexico and one of her friends there is a native american. He started telling her about how he eats cactus with his friends all the time. She asked him if they ever eat pruvanas. He said he had never heard of the peruvian torch, but he said they get the macrogonus. I has very happy to hear him use this word. He also said that it is much stronger than the pedro.
So I just thought I’d share just in case any one else is wondering about this or will wonder.

Now I found only three different posts on its activity.
But found one that is not active.
Maybe you have more info on its activity,
and could share it with us?
