Trazadone

^ pointless post dumbshit don't you think i have looked all around I know it's a sleep AID but Anti-Anxiety wise havent found much on it. Don't post usless shit, you prick stay out of my threads.

Trazodone does have some slight anxiolytic properties to it. IMO, Trazodone is VERY useful for sleep, and does not have addiction properties.

I'd say its anxiolytic for me and it does knock your ass asleep. Good for comedowns on adderall ime

I was prescribed 100mg trazadone for chronic insomnia.
I suggest you try 25mg if you have them that small, or 50mg first.
See how it affects you. Then move up from there (generic rule of thumb)
for me even 100mg do not 'knock my ass to sleep' but this is more of a personal medical problem.

It can cause nightmares...

Uh, yes it certainly can lol. If not nightmares, extremely vivid and uncomfortable dreams that seem to drag on forever. Using trazadone for acute anxiety is a mistake imo. I find that when I use trazadone for sleep, when I wake up I have hangover-esque effects, sometimes accompanied by otherwise inexplicable anxiety.

As far as dose goes... 100mg will probably put you out like a light if you're not too familiar with it. I'd recommend 50mg and then go from there. You don't want to take more than you need for sleep. This increases the propensity for nightmares, and the hangover effects I mentioned. I'm pretty much speculating, but it seems like your looking like something for short term, or acute treatment of anxiety. You're pretty much out of luck with this substance.

Its also used as an antidepressant, its been in use clinically for quite a while, but its popularity has obviously been eclipsed by more popular or mainstream drugs like fluoxetine. And even if you experienced the antidepressant effects successfully, there's no guarantee it'll help you out with anxiety. To answer your question I'd give you a hard no, but I'm not a doctor so it's all just my personal opinion. For sleep though its primo

To be honest I find trazodone completely worthless except as a sleep aid, and even after two weeks and with my dose raised to 300mg, it pretty much stopped doing anything.

Trazone personally didn't help me fall asleep after adderall come down.

aND its main metabolite which appears after about 7 hour is Mccp. Mccp is a shity drug
they put in ecstacy pills very ofet (i think its a piperazine. So when you have anxiety
issues, in the morning you will feel more anxious since Mccp is a decent stimulant.

But after taking it most people fall asleep. Start with 50mg and move up if you like the results

I never knew about Trazadone metabolizing to mCCP

I personally took 100mg Trazadone for abut 2 weeks and then 150mg for another 2 or so; I never felt any ill effects from it (ie. hangover-esque) but also did not find it to help me sleep much.
